Both of these monolithically influential musicians talked to us for a generous amount of time and their creative outlooks and insights are worth their weight in gold. This was a bucket list act for us here at OST and we still can't quite believe that it happened.

Then we have three of the most important, innovative and in many ways poetic new punk acts operating currently. @bigspecial_ @merylstreek_ and @dead.pioneers all bring a healthy amount of uncompromising reality to the table and a mutual open mindedness that is changing the performance, delivery and sound of punk music in 2026.
Canada's finest free thinking sound sculptors @big_brave_ talk to us about their upcoming new album, In grief or in hope and their accumulated knowledge from their rich and wildly creative career thus far.
The queen of next generation ambient music and self confessed musical magpie @clairerousay sat down with us prior to taking the stage in Leeds to discuss her approach to sound, resources and capturing the moment.
Your favourite band's favourite band @failurebandig discuss their brand new album, Location Lost and the dramatic nature of its birth.

A warm welcome to all of our friends here on the OST page. The response to our latest issue so far has been amazing. If you are thinking about getting the physical copies i'd recommend you be quick on this print run, seriously!

You are all heroes and it makes me really happy. I speak as we in relation to the magazine because a) That's the rules in magazine land and b) I work with @tommytogtog as our only official photographer.

The rest of it is me, Null Assembly, from the interviews to the design, to packing and sending, the whole shebang with a wonderful group of PRs that i've come to know and trust implicitly over the years.

I do all of this as my solo artist name of Null Assembly because that name sums up everything i do creatively and i think of any creative transmission i send out into the world as being from the same place. Null Assembly is my way of saying, making something out of nothing...Which at the end of the day applies to all I do.

So, I know I don't write from a personal perspective in the magazine and I've resisted the temptation to do an editors note. This is for a very good reason too.

OST is about the musicians in it, their words shape the magazine and my contributions at interview level are edited right down.

You don't pick up this magazine because my face is on the cover do you? No.

So I hope OST does what I want it to do and provides some inspiration in the form of the thoughts and words from the minds of the most exciting musicians I can find, directly from their mouths.

I just host these conversations and steer the topics. These amazing artists are the content.
