At its core, Review & Reset exists to remind us that while the journey can feel isolating, we are not meant to navigate it alone. Our first edition in Nairobi, we brought together creatives, founders, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders who are currently shaping the landscape of the creative industry in Kenya and the wider East African region.

We began slowly, through a flower arranging session led by Imali, a wellbeing practitioner specialising in shiatsu therapy. It offered a moment to arrive fully, to release the day, and to ground into the space before anything else. A reminder that how we gather matters just as much as what we discuss.

From “grey” beginnings to “neon” endings, many of us recognised that progress isn’t linear… and sometimes, it’s not in our control. We spoke honestly about what’s often left unsaid: from delayed payments and lack of transparency to the need for clearer systems, shared knowledge and community care.

But alongside that, there was something else. A sense of ease, honesty and of being in a space where you don’t have to perform, explain or compete.

Over two years, My Lewisham Changemakers aged 18–25 designed and led eight youth-led projects across Lewisham. They held the decision-making power, set the priorities, and showed us that safety isn't just the absence of harm.

It's belonging. Creativity. Connection. Opportunity.

This documentary tells that story.
149 young people reached. A body of work that will continue to grow long after Partisan.

We brought Afroswing Pioneers, Artist @timbostp and Producer @ga_theproducer to run a @partisan_cic workshop, designed by us, with the next generation of talent @lzzorlizz @hoodceleb_nk @dee.wunnn

The industry has changed so much over the years, in terms of access, technology and community. However, the heart, passion and sound carry the same spirit. In this session we asked Timbo and GA to share their rise in the industry, the challenges they faced and the opportunities young creatives can take advantage of now. After that they co-wrote and produced a song that one day you may hear 🥹
