This internship as an assistant designer is aimed at anyone who is enthusiastic about upcycling and has a keen interest in material research, as well as new technical solutions, and strategies that differ from those used in conventional industry. In addition to the ongoing development and manufacture of bags and accessories for our brand PACOV, collaboration with various labels, designers, photographers, and artists is part of the internship.

Looking for a motivated person for 3 months starting on May 15th, 2026.

Your tasks
- development and design of collections of apparel and accessoires
- developing patterns and prototypes
- material manipulation
- creating hand-drawn illustrations and grafhics
- supporting the design process through to production and quality control
- material research - tracking down of discarded leather sofas found on the streets of Berlin,
cycling through the city is an advantage
- cleaning and disinfecting the tracked down leather sofas and archiving the leather inventory

Desired qualifications
- creative thinking, positive attitude and interest in learning new things
- completed or working towards and education in fashion design/clothing engineering
- basic skills for Adobe programs (illustrator, photoshop, indesign) preparation of technical drawings (flats, tech packs) for production preparation - not mandatory
- an eye for details and excelent workmanship
- not afraid to get your hands dirty
- working independently and executing projects
- German and/or english skills

We offer you
- you will work side by side with the designer and will have insights into alternative processes and manufacturing techniques and create products with a great deal of passion while setting high quality standards
- mobility included: Germany ticket or bicycle – for urban research in Berlin
- you will have the opportunity to choose a leather from our archive and have a multi SB made
