A few frames from Some Interesting Apples 📽️🍎
a community film about the people behind the UK’s only orchard solely dedicated to the cultivation of selected wild-grown chance-seedling apples. These are often roadside apple trees, ‘planted’ unwittingly by someone who drove past and chucked their apple core out of the car window. If the variety is resilient enough, it will grow into a tree, however tough the conditions are.
“When it comes to addressing ecological collapse it can very frequently feel overwhelming and I guess if the Some Interesting Apples project, in being able to perpetuate the growth of top fruit in this country fulfils that tiny tiny purpose, then we are contributing something ourselves, and it feels that that’s a little, tiny slice of power” @someinterestingapples

When Life Gives You Oranges • A Ffern Documentary
While musing on Italy for our Summer 24 season, with the help of directors Elena Heatherwick and Angus Dunsire, we encountered one of London’s best kept secrets, to be found at 136 Clerkenwell Road.
Casa Italiana San Vincenzo Pallotti (@casaitalianauk) - known to its members as ‘The Club’ - is a historic Italian social club that has been a cornerstone of London’s Italian community since its establishment in 1960.
We have been incredibly fortunate that The Club has welcomed us into their world with immense generosity and joy - and helped us to make this film in celebration of their Tuesday lunch club.
In the hope that The Club can continue for another sixty-four years, we have helped to set up a fundraiser for them. You can donate to this by following the link in our stories, or visiting http://ffern.co/casaitaliana 🍊🇮🇹🌞

THE RHUBARB TRIANGLE - A Short Documentary for @ffern.co 💫
Last November we loaded up the car and headed up to West Yorkshire’s famous ‘Rhubarb Triangle’ to find the growers who are still producing this magical plant. It’s been such a heartwarming experience getting to know the Cooks, who, following a very random knock on the door, welcomed us in and immediately offered us a cup of tea and have been a total joy to collaborate with! Every step of this film has been made with our baby daughter in our arms -or in the arms of our very lovely crew and cast!♥️
@leilas_shop On growing and forcing rhubarb on the Cook’s family farm:
“The technique was honed in the late Victorian years when proximity to collieries for cheap coal (to heat the sheds) and mills for wool shoddy (to fertilise the sheds) were advantages. There are just a handful of growers now, it involves heavy work, much that needs to be done by hand - lifting and laying crowns from field to shed and pulling to harvest. New crowns are split every year and then spend two years outdoors before they are strong enough to be lifted into the sheds; harvested and then discarded. It is a slow return. The Cooks grow several varieties to spread and prolong the season- Stockbridge, Harbinger & Arrow, Timberly & Victoria. A colossal Amazon warehouse sits where the colliery once was and building developments, mostly warehouses, threaten the fields all around .”
Huge thanks to Jonathan & Susie Westwood for their time and knowledge + @rhubarbrobert for so generously taking us round their farm and introducing us to the Cooks! @farmercook_
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
