What a year….

We have so many thank you’s to everyone this year. From our team to our crew to our clients and our suppliers thank you for your continued support and opportunities.

We have had an amazing year, everything from
Brand launches to festival tents, from custom builds to Carnival and everything in between. We value the varied nature of our work and our versatile team behind the scenes (as you can see in the reel)

This year we opened up our dedicated branding department which saw us branding up everything from sea containers to skate parks, more on that in the new year..

Thank you again from everyone in the Passa Team

One last dance is coming… and it brings us back to the warehouse 🪩

As we prepare to open the doors for NYE, we’ve been reflecting on the summer that shaped the space. SubSkate started as a simple idea and became a shared rhythm - six weeks where the warehouse held skating by day, dancing by night, food on the tables, drinks flowing, and music at the centre.

Thank you to every collaborator, selector, skater, builder, artist and friend who helped bring SubSkate to life - and to everyone who came through to skate, eat, drink, dance, or simply be present. You made the energy what it was.

With real gratitude:

🛼 @sk8ofminds - for the care, commitment and hands-on support that made the rink possible.

🔊 @passaproductions for always coming through with the best sound system and set design finesse - until we go again NYE!😎

🏭 @copelandparkse - for the flexibility and trust to let us reimagine the warehouse.

Now, we return to the space in a different way.
NYE at JUMBI will span across three rooms giving you a range of sonics to explore from vinyl through to the sound system stack, movement and community. Our final dance of the year, led with intention.

This is your warning that tickets are moving QUICKKKKK - round up your dancing crew and cop now whilst they’re available.

Due to demand we will most likely not have any tickets on the door…

So if you’re planning to pull up, don’t wait.

Lock it in now and come celebrate with us!

Big love,

Team JUMBI 🌟

@carharttwip X @nicholas_daley

Whenever our good friend and longtime collaborator @nicholas_daley calls it’s always a fun project. This time is was to provide some retail display items for the now released collection (check it out)

We came up with the design of some vintage style prop speaker boxes which were inspired by both our love of sound systems and the collaboration logo which Nicholas designed. We have provided our @themightyrulersoundsystem for many of his shoots and activations most notably shaking the walls of the V&A Museum.

The idea spread and the commission went from a handful of speakers to 45 boxes of 2 different designs which we shipped around the world. The speakers are currently in New York and Tokyo as well as Milan, Berlin, Barcelona and many other cities across Europe with 2 sets in @carharttwip_uk Soho flagship store and in @theofficialselfridges in the menswear section.

From the initial CNC cutting right up to packing and shipping we had a week so our incredible team worked around the clock

Big thanks go to:
-Chippy T for the cutting expertise
-Robin for the CNC wizardry
-Jason Ramanah for the 3D visuals
-JP, Jaeden, Tyler, Libert and Desmond from the Passa team for the dedicated work to see the project right through delivery.

Massive Thanks goes out to Nicholas, Fabio and Sophie from the Carhartt team for trusting us with this project.

DAY 1: NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL 2025 — BEHIND THE SCENES OF RESISTANCE, RHYTHM & COMMUNITY
Every year I document Carnival from a new perspective, and this time I stepped away from the main parade to focus on the unseen labour behind Europe’s biggest street festival. Before the crowds arrive, before the sound systems ignite the streets, there is quiet dedication: mas bands sewing final feathers, steel pan players rehearsing in back alleys, performers adjusting costumes built by hand, food vendors preparing recipes passed down through generations.

Notting Hill Carnival was born out of protest and resistance—a response to racial tension, discrimination and the 1958 Notting Hill race riots. It’s a cultural celebration, but also a statement of survival, creativity and identity for the Caribbean community in London. Documenting the behind-the-scenes preparation is my way of honouring that legacy. These images aim to spotlight the craft, activism, heritage and community spirit that hold Carnival together long before the first drum hits the air.

As always, my work forms part of my ongoing visual activism—Hardly seen, always noticed—amplifying the stories that define who we are today.

More affectionately known as ‘Hornimans’ aka the Main Stage. It hosts Panorama, The National Steel Band Competition. A one of a kind event we have done the site and production for since 2021 and the official start of Notting Hill Carnival. It has also hosted Wray and Nephew, Red Bull, Strawberries and Cream as well as the artist Alvaro Barrington in our tenure. We have worked with artists such as Sean Paul, Mabel and Shaggy who have graced this stage in the middle of the Carnival route.

A unique site and production as the requirements for Panorama have to be incorporated with Sunday and Mondays activities, several elements we have tailored including 2 massive 12’ wide ramps to accommodate the pan floats which get wheeled on and off to make changeovers as quick as possible. As well as a unique AV set-ups that we refine over the years.

As we are in full steam for planning for this year, take a look at some behind the scenes footage of some of our team and the build up to Panorama last year

One of our biggest highlights from last year was our first partnership with @peckhamfestival

We have worked with our friends at @copelandparkse for the past couple of years and it was an honour to partner up on their annual community festival

We put the Passa touches on in the Gallery for the associated exhibition as well as full production on the main stage for the weekend. We then even hosted an afterparty in unit 8 with our other guise @themightyrulersoundsystem with our fam @jumbipeckham hosting the other night. Incredible installation pieces by our other family @948collective celebrating the sites of Peckham with whole festival curation by @alizeendiaye and @itsdannybwoi . It’s always a honour working alongside the whole team.

Make sure to check it out September this year

NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL CONTRACT 24

The greatest event in the world, no words can describe it but hopefully this video will give you a taste.

Every year is an honour and a privilege to work with @nhcarnivalldn and be trusted to deliver production for the 3 main areas. This year was another level yet again.

Hornimans (aka Main Stage) with partners @redbulluk and @strawberriesandcreem with an incredible line up in this 5000 cap area. With the official opening of NHC Panorama (UK national Steelband competition) the jewel in the Carnival Crown.

Powis Square in the heart of Carnival with partners @rec.ess @converse_london and @dailypaper (with a bar by our @jumbipeckham family) was a roadblock from early with some of the maddest carnival vibes ever.

Judging Zone is always an honour as this is the special place we roll through every year on the trucks we have built and powered for the last few years (how we started out). Shout out our @colourscarnivalltd Famalay as they have been our day 1s as well as our other trucks for the legendary @smokeyjoeroadshow and @ebonymasband

Always a massive thanks to all of our team and suppliers (over 30 incredible crew for a week over the event) for their dedication and passion in delivering this unique production.

Roll on next year

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
