Big praise to the Army Corps of Engineers for all their hard work clearing the burn zone. They are a fine oiled machine, currently clearing 80 lots a day, and plan to have Altadena cleaned up by the end of June! What a feat, if you’ve been up there and seen the destruction, you know this is no small job. I highly recommend going and taking a look if you haven’t, to get a clue what this is all about and to understand what your fire victim friends are going through.

The dumptrucks in photo one wait in line, not fully ever stopping but just creeping to a slow roll to grab a slip from a guy with the next address of the next home to clear on it. The work literally does not stop, 12-14 hours a day until the job is done. 😵‍💫

The Geffen Playhouse generously allotted a handful of tickets to PDA for their new show, Furlough’s Paradise. The show is on May 8th at 8pm! We’re excited to host these tickets for any members or patrons of the PDA community! We will be prioritizing those affected by the fires earlier this year, but all are welcome to apply! Follow the link in our bio to grab some tickets.

I moved to Los Angeles 15 years ago with no idea I'd end up being a comedian. Getting laughs was my whole life, but I was horrified by the idea of performing live onstage. When I arrived, the only performance I'd ever done was singing one song at an open mic. At the time, I was working in a restaurant in Cincinnati and when they offered me a managerial position I impulsively said, "I'm moving to California." I was full of shit most of my life, but this time I did what I said.

The biggest dream I could imagine at the time was maybe working in development at a production company. As I failed at that dream I started writing scripts and imagining myself being a comedy writer in a writer's room. This desire led me to take my first improv class at @ucbtla My graduation show for 101 was my first time performing comedy onstage. It was most certainly bad, but I loved it. I couldn't get enough of it. I couldn't stop.

I'd go on to work with @gilkeypleas @idiotworkshop and find my true comedic identity in clown, eventually becoming a teacher at the workshop.

All of a sudden, I'm turning 40, and still making work. To celebrate my unexpected life as a clown, I will be returning to the stage where it all began, to perform my solo show HONEST WORK - a 60 minute solo improvisation unlike anything you've ever seen. I'd be honored if you were able to celebrate my life with me! Tix in bio.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
