INTRODUCING: BLUSH, BEYOND THE PAGE
A four-part series to take you inside ‘Blush: Contemporary Makeup Artists’ the new book by @phaidonpress celebrating the world’s most brilliant, bold, and boundary-pushing makeup artists.
For the profiles I authored in the book, I was adamant that I speak to the artists themselves—to really understand the texture of their mind and hands at work. What was beautiful to see and hear through these interviews is that make-up, to them, is a means of experimentation, reinvention, provocation, disguise, and protection.
For these visionaries, it is an opportunity to study the people that sit in their chairs — their preferences, interior lives, and inner worlds. It is an act of artistic expression, and sometimes, a healing process that moves from palette to fingertip to face.
Here, we look at the work of artist Lynsey Alexander (@lynseyalexander), inaugural global creative make-up artist for @pradabeauty, whose philosophy often challenges the very definition of “beauty.”
“I used to ask myself the question, ‘What can I add to this make-up to make it better?,’ she says in our call. “Now, I am switching that on its head and saying, ‘What can I remove?’”
Go behind the artist’s eye with us as we explore the minds reshaping contemporary beauty today.

We are proud to announce ‘The Eames Houses: Charles and Ray Eames Residential Architecture,’ the first comprehensive sourcebook dedicated to Charles and Ray Eames’s residential architecture.
Authored by Eckart Maise, with text contributions from Catherine Ince, and forewords by Norman Foster and Eames Demetrios, the book firmly establishes architecture as a central pillar of the Eames legacy.
‘The Eames Houses’ presents all eight houses designed by the powerhouse couple between 1944 and 1955. Beautifully designed and richly illustrated, the book features both newly commissioned photography and a wealth of materials from the Eames Office’s archives – sketches, drawings, letters, and photographs – many of which are published here for the first time.
Accompanying the recently debuted exhibition of the same name, ‘The Eames Houses’ brings the couple’s human-centered approach to modernism firmly into the present.
Go to the link in bio to pre-order. Available beginning in May.

Since opening its doors in 1953, Passport Photo Service, a small family-run studio on Oxford Street in London, photographed thousands of people for passports, visas, and green cards. Some of those people happened to be quite famous.
‘Passport Photo Service’ is a never-before-seen archive of 300 celebrity portraits — actors, writers, musicians, athletes, and other famous faces — taken over the course of six decades. Designed to evoke a UK passport, this compact book is bursting with images and firsthand stories from Philip Sharkey, whose family owned the iconic business.

With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
