For two decades, PM Press has championed radical ideas, publishing nearly 700 titles by voices such as Silvia Federici, Noam Chomsky, Ursula Le Guin, Cory Doctorow and many more. Our 18,000‑square‑foot warehouse in upstate New York is the heart of that work: it lets us ship books to events nationwide, support fellow left‑leaning presses, host an annual regional bookfair, and provide space for local community groups. His new book Fighting Times: Organizing on the Front Lines of the Class War recounts his thirteen-year journey to harness working-class militancy and jump start a revolution on the shop floor of American Motors. Melrod faces termination, dodges the FBI, outwits collaborators in the UAW, and becomes a central figure in a lawsuit against the rank-and-file newsletter Fighting Times, as he strives to build a class-conscious workers’ movement from the bottom up.
