postpost KIOSK:北京市朝阳区三里屯太古里北区N5/N8
The new space, postpost KIOSK, has appeared in a commercial district that feels familiar yet has just undergone a major upgrade—Sanlitun Taikoo Li North, Beijing. We want to stay true to our long-held belief in opening stores that respond to their surroundings: what can postpost bring to this particular place, this time?
Our answer is simple: a roof.
In this open, mixed-use neighborhood, we hope to take shape as a small resting pavilion. If you happen to be caught in a sudden downpour without an umbrella, if you’re looking for a corner to wait for a friend stuck in traffic, if on a summer afternoon you want to be outdoors but still need a bit of shade—or if you’re simply passing by—postpost KIOSK is here for you to pause and take a break.
This space was jointly designed by Tangent Essays @tangent_essays and ETHOS Design.
We’ll be serving crêpes and chai in the kiosk. We invited artist gantea @gantea to create an exclusive visual story for us.
We hope postpost KIOSK can take on more fluid forms—embracing a wider range of things and content: sometimes it is a bookstore, sometimes a nomadic shop; sometimes it becomes a live music venue, and sometimes it simply repeats a single object.
We are also open to offering publishers, music labels, brands, or individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds a showcase space and curatorial support—dedicated to presenting their freshest, most current work.
SHOWCASE 1 comes from a contemporary music publication based in Switzerland —— zweikommasieben @zweikommasieben
(an in-depth interview will be shared soon)
We invited artist 巨巨乐园 @jojo.garden to create a painted artwork for the kiosk’s display window.
Our collaboration with Fey Fey Worldwide @feyfeyworldwide will also be launching at the kiosk very soon. More details will be shared shortly.
The kiosk will also serve as a recording site for ppR, the postpost radio station. We’ll be inviting musicians across different styles and genres to spread rhythms under the eaves—and you’re welcome to join us in exploring the boundaries between sound performance and listening space. The visual identity for ppR is designed by our long-time collaborator, graphic artist @8adpreacher

We are thrilled to let you know that the postpost x DJ Würm @dj_wurm collaboration collection is now ready. The release includes a 52-minute mix curated by DJ Würm for postpost, a clothing item, and a canvas tote bag. The printed graphic features a *House Spirit* character created by DJ Würm.
Gaspard Emma Hers – also known as DJ Würm –
is an artist from Brussels working with drawings and contemporary electronic music.
Combining the imaginary and the grotesque, their work draws on popular references tinged with magic. While in their drawings, the story is fragmented, interspersed with key images assembled together in a collage, like the Grylles of the Middle Ages.
Their music intersects with influences from early rave sounds, post-metal, and hardcore, as well as the contemporary electronic post-club scene. Taking us on a journey where echoes of distant raves melt into bass and textured rhythms.
In their music, the hypnotic and detuned melodies invite us on a collective trance, finding an introspective pathway into ghostly loops and continuous vibrations.
Mix is available to listen online at postpost RADIO
Tee & tote are available at postpost shop

recent reading:Hierarchies of Solidarity
How does solidarity emerge? When are political alliances formed beyond differences, and why do certain struggles seem to garner more solidarity than others? What constitutes solidarity work, and what contradictions, interests and strategies shape it?
In their new volume, Hierarchies of Solidarity, சிந்துஜன் வரதராஜா (Sinthujan Varatharajah) and مشترى هلال (Moshtari Hilal) jointly reflect on a practice that, as an act against oppression, manifests itself in both seemingly small, everyday gestures and global political contexts. The result is a revelatory conversation that, grounded in lived experience, traces the racist structures of the discourse landscape and offers alternative ways of understanding solidarity.

recent reading:Hierarchies of Solidarity

So excited to announce that my publication developed during my master in artistic research @masterfilm_amsterdam and designed by @mia_cheeerstudio is now available at my two favourite art bookstores in the world:
post post (Beijing) @postpostspace
and San Serriffe (Amsterdam). @san.serriffe
About the publication:
Four Comrades, One Echo investigates the complexity of sisterhood, personal agency and women’s solidarity within a collectivist society through the lives of my four ‘mothers’; my mother and her three sisters who each co-parented me at different stages of my life. Through collective storytelling, we trace their experiences as Chinese women navigating the Mao era and the post-reform transition to capitalism, exploring how they upheld their resilience and agency despite the ideological and patriarchal oppression they faced, bringing earlier moments of feminism under socialism into dialogue with the present.
The storytelling extends beyond filmmaking, evolving into writing, documentary theatre, personal archives, and this artist publication, which brings together artworks by the four mothers created during and after the filmmaking process. It shifts between collective and individual expression, offering a space where the past resonates with the present. Ultimately, this research challenges dominant feminist discourses, advocating for a pluralistic understanding of ‘feminisms’ to emerge – one rooted in cultural, geographical and historical specificity.
How to buy:
📍 In China: @postpostspace (Beijing store or DM their customer service)
📍 In Europe: @san.serriffe (https://san-serriffe.com/product/kiva-liu-four-comrades-one-echo/)

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
