Human Error Club is the trio of virtuosic LA jazz players Diego Gaeta, Jesse Justice, and Mekala Session. Together and apart they have performed with folks like Andre 3000, the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra, and Pink Siifu while continuing to hone their wild improv-minded compositions.

Their latest album HUMAN ERROR CLUB AT KENNY’S HOUSE was made in collaboration with celebrated hip-hop producer Kenny Segal. 

Their favored self-description is as follows: “It’s free jazz but not the free jazz that you’re thinking of.”

@isef_usef's 2022 opus "consistency" is an seamless masterclass in progressive R&B by way of the bassoon; it is funky, smooth, and infectious. Yousef's voice is sweet and expressive, but distant. With it, he tells stories of loneliness, broken bonds, and bittersweet goodbyes.

A new project from @jesse__justice “In Turn” is out today. “In Turn” unfolds as a set of electronic compositions that resist easy categorization. Justice bends modular synthesis into unexpected shapes, crafting songs that fall in-between genres: electronic but not club-oriented, intricate without leaning on jazz tropes, and melodic without settling into ambient drift.

The project features collaborations with some of Los Angeles’ most powerful voices: @pinksiifu and @blqlyte appear on “Angel,” a cosmic rap track (featured here); @sharadalatika lends her voice to “Rushing,” layering crystalline melodies over shifting pulses; and @quranshaheed brings her vocal presence to “Nothing at All.” The remaining tracks reveal Justice’s own approach to instrumental storytelling, highlighting the textures and possibilities of sound design.

Pulled this together last minute around wanting to connect dope friend in town from Chengdu, China @jolene_wu to the LA music scene and accidentally ended up with one of the sickest lineups of the year so far

Stacked up with all legends, I’d show up on time to catch every set cause none are to be missed;
I’d also stay late cause have some pretty cool secret guest friends coming in to dj an afters vibe

Thanks @leavingrecords for last minute needing a show to host @deantoniparks to take this already insane lineup over the edge

Also 🤫 I hear the loved ones @mobius_acoustics system is being utilized for a hi-fi experience that’s the cherry on top of what’s already looking to be an crazy night
