It was a fierce competition on the stages between the shorts-wearing sludge masters @regulargonzales, Sydney's prog stalwarts @pyreflyofficial and Brisbane's death thrashers @idleruin...

On our way up to Shredfest, we are making a cheeky stop to visit our dear friends in Lismore at @_blah_bar_ alongside @da_manager_ tenpackscrewdriver and @overcompensator_official 🤘🤘

Doors at 7, all ages and music til late, so come join us for the best warm up ever 🤘🤘

@pyreflyofficial are this month’s Groundswell artist in Beneath The Surface — a band forged through grief, growth and defiance. Blending crushing groove, melodic hooks and raw emotion, their debut album Lost & Found captures a group evolving while staying true to the foundation built by founding drummer Trina Tuffy.

With a strong DIY spirit, a commitment to the Australian underground and upcoming appearances at @shredfest_brisbane and @thrashville_, Pyrefly are proving they are one of the most exciting rising heavy bands in the country.
