Today is a very special day for the house of Lexxx.

I’ve been thinking a lot over the years about what it means to be a future ancestor. Wanting to ensure that I leave this plane with the desire of making things even a touch better than where I found it. Burlesque, drag and many of my art making practices have felt immensely lonely for me. In forms where so much relies on self creation and devising- one can find themselves isolated. I thrive in community, I thrive in collaboration. Time and time again, I’ve craved being part of a drag family. Chosen queer family. Then, seeing @mx.bukuru step into parenthood in a way of such determination and grace- gave me the push I needed to start my own.

@carmenlacoquette came into my life as she asked me to mentor her for her first solo. From there, I felt as if in so many ways we shared the same brain. She’s perfect, and I adore her in every way. My angel baby🌹

We are beyond excited to welcome @mushthemossking into our family. Mush has been in my life for a long time, and has always felt as if he was my son already. An incredibly smart, talented and simply the sweetest young man I have ever met in my life. I love you to the ends of this earth, and I am so proud of you. I cannot wait for the world to see the expanse of your beautiful and limitless brain in this corner of the world we call drag.

My kids inspire me and give me so much drive and hope to continue on in these times. I am such a lucky dad, and I promise you both to always be there when you need me. I’m so proud of you two, thank you for choosing me back. There’s so much more I could say- but Instagram has me at a word limit. ✨

Believe it or not I had some leftover socks, underwear and tank tops from my Bath House Alien from the TV show I did once upon a dream! I decided to throw together a “feminine” counterpart for him to play with 👽 So hot, so sexy, so sticky!

I walked over to my sewing machine, unplugged it fiercely, gave it a kick and took my glue gun in hand and went to town 👏 Hideous, Nasty and very PM! Eat it up and then get tested divas 💦 MUAH 💋

But in all seriousness, I have zero work done because I adore having my full facial range as well as being the sweatiest human alive when I’m in drag! Who needs eyebrows anyways….. I also really want to be expanding and pounding makeup into my wrinkles when I’m 80 and still be jump splitting - stay tuned to see if the world explodes before that!

Just wanted to make a final post thanking every single person who helped me get to this point! Whether you allowed me on your stage over the last 10 years, or dropped some stones on one of my hideously gorgeous headpieces - I appreciate the Vancouver Drag Community so so so much! I gave it my all with what I had available and I am so fudging proud of my darn package and run this season! It feels fully representative of myself and the drag I want to put out in this world!

I wanted to be visible and loudly NON BINARY AND POLY on @canadasdragrace because it’s a fun fudging REALITY TV SHOW! I really hope you’ve all enjoyed getting to know me a wee bit better! It’s okay to not understand or agree with a way another queer lives their life, but I hope those of you reading this treat though around you with respect 🐀 It is so so so easy to be kind and bite your tongue and THINK before you speak! It’s a very chic quality!
