Lost Together is here! 🌳

From climate crisis to childhood trauma, we are a culture focused on solutions.

A fear of uncertainty in our relationships, work, and movements cuts us off from our wisest, most creative, and visionary potential. When our bodies struggle to stay with the unknown, our reflex is often to grasp for power and control.

Lost Together asks the question: What would become possible if we responded to the political and ecological crises of our times through the lens of relationship rather than individual protection?

What if we stopped trying to find solutions, and started trying to find each other?

🌳

What a delight to be able to share these eight conversations with some of the wisest and bravest people I know, including @benreidhowells
@deep.roots.alba @bigwavesconsulting @somaticswithnazbah @prentishemphill @raffosusan @weaverandrosesomatics @souluacouto Nisha Poulose, and @kaichengthom

The first episode drops next Tuesday and I’ll be sharing new episodes every two weeks over the coming months. I’ve also recorded a series of short glossary episodes of terms we tend to use a lot but don’t always have a shared understanding of, like “Regeneration”, “Land Back”, and “Collective Liberation”.

Huge thanks to my co-producer @beccacrich_ and to my love @scdamndillon for the music.

I hope you’ll listen, share with your people, and follow us wherever you get your podcasts.

In neighborhoods everywhere, our communities are weaving powerful webs to protect one other from harm. This is love out loud. When we are facing crisis, practice can support us to mobilize body for action, to generate safety, to give and receive support, and to allow energy to flow through after activation.

We are developing a multimedia, multilingual toolkit for frontline responders called “Being the ground: Toolkit for care and connection in crisis response.” The toolkit will be released early summer, but there are a couple of ways you can plug in sooner.

You can join a live virtual session on April 13th from 12-2pm ET with
* Prentis Hemphill, The Embodiment Institute @prentishemphill

* Francisca Porchas Coronado and Sandra Olarte-Hayes, Latinx Therapists Action Network (LTAN) @Latinxtherapistsactionnetwork

* Damon Azali and tayla shanaye, Coaching for Healing, Justice and Liberation@healingjusticeliberation @taylashanaye

* Susan Raffo and Marie Michael, somatics practitioners from Minneapolis @raffosusan @evolve2embodyequity

Presenters will do some teaching and storytelling about how to prepare the body to reach for connection and resource while responding to crisis. In real time, we’ll also have a chance to collectively practice strategies to ground and regulate during, after, and in between moments of acute pressure.

We also have a mini-toolkit that you can use for support now! It includes guided practices from Prentis, @adriennemareebrown, and Latinx Therapists Action Network (LTAN). The LTAN offerings are available in both Spanish and English, while Prentis’ and adrienne’s are only in English.

Links in bio! Please check out these offerings, let us know what you think, and share with folks who might need them (or tag them in comments).

Hey local friends, these cafés are one of the ways that REP is offering support as folks are navigating how to move from these last months into deepening what it is to show up as neighbors turning to neighbors rather than the state. This is what REP has been focused on since before 2020 and we are just pulling open space for conversation, questions, problem-solving, and support. I will be there today with Jason and Rox and Ar’Tesha. Come join us.

Someone tried to burn down the Renee Good memorial last night. Photo credit White Ghost (edit, there’s already been a call for people to repair the memorial. Join them if you can. Bring flowers and signs and love. Remember, family members are still here among us.)

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
