Some documentation of Flock 2.0, part of the exhibition with @vernersoler running at @casadangel in Lumnezia, Switzerland right now!

‘Flock’ (2026) borrows the ensemble format of a ‘herd’ from the local livestock of Lumnezia, contextualizing their bell bonks as a format for collective improvised composition. Human participants in Flock use an 88-key piano to trigger sounds from traditional Swiss livestock bells, with each interaction recorded and played back later. Sounds were created using extended percussion techniques (bows, a water bucket, spinning coins, etc), without the use of extensive editing or effects.

Big thanks to Colin Cudmore (@dipshit_ass_420 ) who contributed his percussion expertise for some incredible sounds, Phillipe from @swissclubto for lending me their big beautiful bells, @leanderalbin who came in so clutch lending his keyboard for the exhibition & who graciously hosted our first visit to Lumnezia, @margot_fab for encouraging us to apply to Residenza in the first place & supporting me throughout working on the piece, and Brennan, Colin, Cookie, Emma, Emerson, Sam, & Maddie for coming over and playing around with Flock before I sent it off. Last but not least, thanks to @marculescoray for inviting me and setting up the show, I hope to make it back to Lumbrein to see the show before long! Video and photos by @daniela.derungs

Missing Lumnezia & our residenza fam so much today ! ❤️

Finally releasing her out into the world : Water is a Shifting Mirror is out on March 6 2026. Pre-orders available on bandcamp.

This is my first album and it took 6 years to make. I remember looking out at the Bow River in Calgary, during the height of the pandemic, feeling so much grief at what was happening in and around me. I had just started writing music again, a practice that I rejected for many years because of the pain I placed onto it. I was running away from myself at the time but music eventually brought me back. Writing this album was the true unraveling that I needed, and it was fucking hard. I couldn’t face her alone, and so water became the vessel to hold all my complicated feelings.

I moved cities, I moved through 4 different apartments, I ended many relationships. I brought this music with me through all of these changes. Drafts upon drafts, and tears upon tears… But through all those changes I ended up in a place I could finally call home. A place I could see my entire self where I wasn’t afraid anymore.

Forever grateful to Raf Wilcot for sticking it through with me to the end and for providing so much input and insight into making this album what it is. Thank you for helping me find my voice and for encouraging me that my story is one that deserves to be told. I am so glad we get to play this music together - and through many iterations!

PREMIERE: “Water in Combination” by @eejungmi 💧

With her new single “Water in Combination,” Toronto-based artist and producer Eejungmi (Katie Lee, previously of Braids) opens a vivid new chapter—one rooted in a deepened relationship to the natural world. The track is the first preview of her forthcoming debut album Water is a Shifting Mirror, a project shaped by months spent visiting the riverbanks near her home and learning to write music again on her own terms.

Head over to reverie-online.com to read our chat with Eejungmi where we learn about the album’s origins, her evolving connection to community and dance culture, the production techniques behind the single, and the years-long journey that brought her from Calgary’s rivers to Toronto’s dance floors and, ultimately, into the most personal work of her career.

‘Flock’ (2025) - An interactive sound installation & collective improvisation composition presented at the Benefeci in Rumein, Switzerland as part of Casa D’Angel’s Residenza program.

“Join the Flock and improvise on the provided keyboard, triggering sounds from livestock bells borrowed from the Albin Farm. Flock is always recording, and your movements will be played back later.

Some ideas for your performance:
- Be a sheep
- Be a human
- Take a solo
- Play a support role
- Make a moo sound
- Sit and listen”

Endless thanks to the people of Lumnezia for the warm welcome, particularly @leanderalbin, @noreenaline_ , and Marco from @casadangel, @biohofalbin.ch , and to all my fellow residents / new bffs ❣️ I will remember my time in Switzerland forever and I hope to be back before long.

Opaque Sound System #3 — up for one last weekend at Spy Gallery! Gallery hours 1-4pm on Sat April 5th & Sun April 6th. DM @spypress or myself for address

Gallery hours will be a lot quieter than the opening, so this is the best time to experience the system 👀👀👀

“Opaque Sound Systems’ subverts traditional sound system design by rejecting the pursuit of neutrality through transparent audio fidelity. Instead, OSS embraces the ability for a sound system to act as an unreliable narrator or a trickster, using novel & experimental techniques to inaccurately reproduce audio.

OSS #3 plays back audio by resonating a hanging sheet of aluminum ducting through electromagnetic induction. The listener is encouraged to stand beneath the sheet and listen to the piece, and may (gently) touch the sound system to see how tension and bend angles act as practical effects to process the audio.”

Fort Morgan Rescore (2021) — An improvisatory score for the short film ‘Fort Morgan’ by Alexander Stewart. Recorded in a process where i’d play guitar or noodle with reaktor while watching the film & later sync the audio to the visuals. I never quite finished it before my last hard drive broke & the files were lost forever, but the full rescore as it was last left is unlisted on youtube here:

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
