Let’s talk collectible design! It’s all over the design world and beautiful to see, but is it a positive trend overall?
Designers are going where they can make a living, as they need to do, but who will be designing for the rest of us?

The perfect send-off to an amazing NYCxdesignweek.
Thank you @nycxdesign, @afternoonlight and @wsanyc for hosting an unforgettable fair, and our creative partners in this event @rarify! It was an honor collaborating to bring this vision to life.
This space wouldn't be complete without the incredible talent of our collaborators:

@skidmoreowingsmerrill
@shivafarrokhi (@ziroru.studio ) & @elisamedjau for furniture and architecture, @malloyjamesofficial & @transpa.rent for the soundscape and audio, and Garrison Block @garrisonblock for capturing it all.

“Frame in Frame – Swiss Design in Motion,” curated by @christian.herren and presented by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, is on view at @wsanyc during NYCxDesign 2026.
The exhibition brings together more than 200 recently rediscovered experimental films produced at the Basel School of Design @hgkbasel_fhnw (1960s–1990s) with iconic Swiss furniture systems and contemporary design, exploring how modular thinking shaped objects, moving images, and spatial experience.
New York-based Swiss designer @officebenganz reimagines Andreas Christen’s iconic @lehni_furniture “Aluminium Shelf” as a pentagonal projection structure. Originally developed for Expo 64, the Swiss National Exhibition held in Lausanne in 1964, the shelving system’s constructive logic is highlighted through Ganz’s green powder-coated cross-braces. Projection film stretched within the shelf openings becomes a screen for “Permutations”, a workshop initiated by @infinityvoegeli at @zhdkcampus. Selected Lehni works are available through @rarify, a designer-led platform specialising in collectible furniture and lighting.
Contemporary designers @pantertourron extend this dialogue with scenographic interventions that rethink the legacy of modular Swiss furniture, including their “Anagram” sofas for Vitra and “Hall” lamps – also available through @rarify – shown in the U.S. for the first time in a custom exhibition colour.

Some of these images would have felt impossible to me a few years ago. To grow up obsessed with New York, with Halston, with mirrored rooms, modernism, obsessive glamour, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the idea of environment as identity and then suddenly find yourself inside of it all is a strange feeling. This project was never about recreating the past.
It was about understanding why these spaces still affect people decades later.
The restraint. The precision. The atmosphere.
The confidence to make people feel something without excess.
Thankful to @rarify and @ikonstudio_ for bringing me into this world and trusting me to help shape it through the lens of Gabriel Salcedo.
The installation feature works by Gabriel Salcedo, contemporary furniture by @shivafarrokhi of @ziroru.studio, soundscape by @malloyjamesofficial, architectural design by @elisamedjau , speakers by @transpa.rent , photography by @matthewgordonstudio and @normanmcgrathstudio , alongside the reintroduction of Charles Pfister’s iconic chair through @rarify x IKONstudio.
Design consultation and collaboration from @skidmoreowingsmerrill and @form_portfolios

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
