I want you to know something that I probably don’t say enough - you’ve truly helped save my life during some of the darkest moments I’ve ever faced. When my mind gets heavy, when the pressure of life, the internet, the noise, the emotions, the crashouts, and everything around me starts closing in… you’re the one person who always reminds me who I really am.
You remind me I’m smart - You remind me I’m loved. You remind me I’m a good father. You remind me I still have purpose even when I feel lost. And honestly, Momma that keeps me alive more than you know.
I know sometimes I haven’t represented this family, your name, or Dad’s name the way I truly should. That hurts me deeply because I know where I come from. I know the values you instilled in me. I know the love and discipline you poured into me my whole life.
