The 14th edition of Musique Électronique is here! A true community focused event celebrating underground techno, house, electro, and ambient music alongside the renowned ‘La Fête de Marquette’ festival right in the heart of Madison, WI.
Join us for three days in McPike Park and two nights at the High Noon Saloon! We're a free community event that includes some of the world’s best DJ’s and live acts, immersive decor, art installations, curated vendors, & so much more!
This year's lineup includes major pillars of underground dance music from all around the globe with headlining performances by Special Request, Steve Rachmad aka Sterac, and Anthony Rother. We’re also incredibly honored to welcome Jimpster, Cinthie, The Carry Nation, Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Dustin Zahn, Paurro, & Infinity Machine.
We have official after parties both Friday and Saturday night starting immediately after the festival ends, just a short walk away at the High Noon Saloon. Limited 2-night passes for only $60 are available now! Here you’ll get a chance to dance to extended sets by Special Request (Friday) and Sterac w/ Dustin Zahn (Saturday). These after parties do sell out, so grab your tickets now! (link in bio)
Festival programming also includes a very special edition of Madison’s favorite queer dance party, Hot Summer Gays on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday we start our programming with our ambient:hours project headlined by an incredibly special live performance by Infinity Machine (feat. Juan Maclean & Gee Dee) with regional support from Lorna Dune. This is a perfect time to get cozy on a blanket, breathe in the serene side of Musique Électronique, drift off into the clouds above you, and/or co-create with us by drawing, painting, writing, etc.
Additional regional support this year by Autokinetic, Moorhaus, and Dreamgirl.
All funds raised from Musique Électronique at La Fete de Marquette benefit the vital services, resources, and community opportunities offered by the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center.
A giant heartfelt thank you to our local sponsors at the MadCat Pet Supplies, Schmelzer Paint Company, & Willy Street Co-op.

An influential visionary, an electro pioneer, and one of electronic music's most prolific producers. For more than two decades Rother has aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music. Starting his recording career in the late '80s, the Offenbach-based producer established himself in Germany's electronic music scene with his first two releases, "Sex With The Machines" (1997) and "Simulationszeitalter" (2000).
In 1998, he founded his label Psi49Net, allowing him to keep his artistic independence and showcase his vision of electro music that cultivated a unique storytelling approach, guided by dystopian future visions on societal changes due to technological progress. The vocoder-driven vocals and the dark dystopian synth sound with machine-like beats have become Rother's trademarks, even before he found international recognition as a science-fiction avant-gardist with the virtual electro-pop project "Little Computer People" (2001) and his 3rd solo LP "Hacker" (2002).
In 2004, Rother created the Datapunk imprint to evolve an immediate, more song-orientated language that used simple melodies and even autobiographic anecdotes collected on "Popkiller." Perceived as one of his most venturous endeavors, yet his sonic shift had a decisive effect on many artists' careers: The Hacker, Boys Noise and Terence Fixmer published on Datapunk in its early days. While some of the experimental ambient recordings for Pete Namlook’s infamous label Fax +49-69/450464 reflects Rother’s prolific output, he also worked and co-produced with several prominent artists such as from former Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos, Sven Väth and DJ Hell.
With regular releases spanning some of the most distinguished labels in electro and techno, Anthony Rother continues to be at the forefront of futuristic music.
Catch him Sunday July 12th from 6-8pm as he closes down Musique Électronique for the weekend.

Sunday's music programming at Musique Électronique begins with the nourishing return of ambient:hours. A space to slow down and reconnect while the tranquil live sounds of Infinity Machine and Lorna Dune fill the air. Bringing a blanket to lay on the grass or a comfy chair is encouraged.
Catch ambient:hours from 1-3pm on Sunday July 12th at Musique Électronique. ✨
Infinity Machine was formed in 2020 by @thejuanmaclean as a sound ceremony for small groups of friends who would assemble in intimate gatherings in Brooklyn. As the pandemic subsided, Infinity Machine formalized the project, playing live at Public Records in Brooklyn and festivals like Making Time in Philadelphia. In 2023 they released a three-LP cassette series on DFA Records. In their recordings and live performances, Infinity Machine incorporates instruments often found in ceremonial psychedelic settings: flutes, drums, chimes, gongs and the voice are backed by sparkly and ethereal synthesizers. Each live and recorded journey is entirely improvised and aimed at providing a sonic landscape for journeying and consciousness exploration
Lorna Dune is an electronic musician, keyboardist, producer and sound designer. Known for her innovative fusion of electronic soundscapes and contemporary classical roots, she has captivated audiences worldwide with musical work that spans ambient, orchestral, electronic dance and experimental realms.

Last Saturday night was incredibly special. Posting this after the event as a time capsule of what happened. We had to do this one in a much more intimate space than normal after losing our original planned location. Sorry to those who wanted to come that we weren't able to extend more invites too.
I want to give a huge shout out to Giulia for an incredible job programming and running the lights (and her DJ debut!), Max for setting up and bringing back "laser shoes", Oli for the bass pushing massage tables and community art set up, Ben Brooks for the live painting, and some of the best local DJ's in this city bringing it proper... Moticos, Zenith, Bledat, and Gxnasty.
And one final massive shout out to the legend Function for melting our minds and pushing our bodies all the way on that wild wild dance floor.

Memoirs of a Midwest Freak — here’s some highlights from Midwest Freaks 3, an almost impossible moment to capture, where 3 crews came together, @intellephunk from Minneapolis, MN, @remaininnight from Madison, WI, and @ithqdetroit from Detroit, MI. MWF3 began with a joyous and playfully devilish set from Madison’s @goodheavensitspaul. The night unfolded with live shows from 2 of the main visionaries from their crews, with a totally dialed in live show from @stevencentrific and a monument of deep sound from @erikadotnet. Really inspirational to see such shows from people so involved in the creation not only of this show, but whole complete event arcs and festivals, and ultimately communities. The night continued with a devastating set from an artist all three crews find very inspiring — @rrose1921. We travelled deep into the wormhole and beyond. @__bbmmgg__ closed the night in a powerful juxtaposition of sound that energized and invigorated, leaving the freaks with a total highlight until next time. A huge thank you to everyone who helped this come together, and seeing @amber.gillen and the @__infinite_dimensions__ crew combine with the other crews was really magical.

Set times for Midwest Freaks 3. We've arranged for time to change during Rrose's set to make it even more mindbending. Ticket links in bio.
Midwest Freaks 3 is happening this Saturday at Tangent, ticket link in bio.
It's time to celebrate that elusive creature — the Midwest Freak — at Midwest Freaks 3. A moment of solidarity between 3 community building crews, Intellephunk from Minneapolis, Remain in Night from Madison, and Interdimensional Transmissions from Detroit. This is the third iteration since we've combined crews, with previous shows in secret warehouses in Madison and Minneapolis, so we are glad to bring it home to Detroit for a mindbender with special guest Rrose at the transformed Tangent on March 7th — going to 6am. Ticket link in bio.
Midwest Freaks unite! Get your ticket at link in bio.
Going from 9pm – 6am at Tangent on Saturday March 7.

It’s time for the freaks to reconvene. Third time’s a charm! For the first Midwest Freaks we went 12 hours in a secret warehouse in Madison. The second one in a Minneapolis warehouse went far beyond that with a closing set by Daniel Bell. For the third edition we are bringing the freaks to Detroit, at IT’s spiritual home — @tangentgallery, where @ithqdetroit will team up with @intellephunk and @remaininnight for a party that goes all the way in, going til 6AM.
This is a collaboration of three community building crews, with the concept of celebrating the Midwest Freaks. Each crew is extremely dedicated to the quality of the experience, each crew believes in transforming the space for a deeper connection to the music, each crew hangs parachutes at their parties. So join us for ParachuteCon26 with some true Midwest Freaks.
Coming from London via the Bay Area, we have none other than @rrose1921, a favorite artist of all of the crews. Representing IT, we have the IT core, with @__bbmmgg__ DJing, @erikadotnet performing live, and @amber.gillen n and the Infinite Dimensions Crew transforming the space. Representing Intellephunk, we have @stevencentrific doing his Detroit live debut. And representing Remain in Night, we have Madison’s @goodheavensitspaul. Full audiophile sound from @jimgibbonsavs. To make things freakier, we arranged to have the time change during the night. So many parachutes, so many freaks. Midwest Freaks unite!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
