Stills from Music Video "Circles" by Victoria Lekson, a cover of Mac Miller's

Our small but mighty crew put our tears, backs, and frozen toes on the line to create this music video. Representing themes of depression, battles with the self, and the cycles of conditioned tendencies. These stills, taken from the current video, hopefully offer a glimpse into the heart of this short film.

Releasing before March 12th, this wouldn't have happened without an intensive creative collaboration process. I want to give special thanks to:

@harpbyvictoria the creator of this cover, co-director and visionary for thematics and costuming, actor, and an all-around lovely artist to create with

@l.luciadq somatics-based movement director, script supervisor, and a place of calm in the storm of production

@renoxalvisuals (myself!) director of photography and editor

@fifi.chains for the gorgeous chainmail rings, hand garb, corset, and koiff

Stay tuned for BTS from the shoot and an interview with Victoria Lekson regarding her experiences as a human and artist leading to this film coming to life ✨

Circles by Victoria Lekson (Harp cover of Circles by Mac Miller)

I created and designed this cover art for Victoria, using two images that I took of her at the Talk Low Fest earlier in the year. When Victoria first brought the concept to me, she told me her idea to use Mac Miller's album cover as inspiration, which you can see in the last slide. That cover was a photograph by Christian Weber, meant to reflect on duality and cynical behavior.

When designing this piece, I wanted to ensure the harp strings were a significant aspect of the double exposure. Using the light hitting the top of the strings, I aligned the naturally occurring line there to align with the beginning of Victoria's face on the left side. This creates a separation between these two angles and exposures, which are vastly different and difficult to combine in a pleasant way. From there, it was editing all the small details - taking and adding where necessary.

Overall, I am pleased with the outcome and always grateful to work with @harpbyvictoria on her projects. Being a co-collaborator with her is a dream and brings so much inspiration through her music. Check out her cover by visiting the link in her bio!

thank you to my dear friends @harpbyvictoria and @lkglsr for asking me to make some art of the memories made at such a beautiful wedding. felt like a damn joy to capture these and be trusted as second-shooter for such an important life event

every time I shoot a wedding, I'm reminded of how I never want to have one myself... but boy do I really love doing the photography for them :)

thank you to my dear friends @harpbyvictoria and @lkglsr for asking me to make some art of the memories made at such a beautiful wedding. felt like a damn joy to capture these and be trusted as second-shooter for such an important life event

every time I shoot a wedding, I'm reminded of how I never want to have one myself... but boy do I really love doing the photography for them :)

Last year I had the incredible opportunity to meet @maggiewhittum and @sweet_sweet_dee two artists creating a solo show about identity, disability, and "otherness"

During their technical rehearsal for their first live performance at @knowtheatre for @cincyfringe I was able to capture the moments of creation for @me.myself.other

Diana had also had her parents join for the tech rehearsal, who were sweet and perfectly chatty. We spoke about Colombia (my wife's home country and theirs as well), the process of living life, and travels. They recounted how proud they were of Diana and her incredible artistry

Later during Fringe, we had brunch and spoke about a little bit of everything. I felt honored and thrilled to get the chance to pick their brains as artists and humans

Maggie recently took the time to offer me advice and guidance on Stage Management for a solo show, since she was the Director and Producer of Me, Myself, and Other. Her incredible worldviews and insights have been significant in assisting my wife as her Stage Manager for her upcoming production

All in all, a whole lotta love for these folks

grieving the death of my grandmother that I hadn't spoken to in over six years

reflecting on the grief I felt in this cemetery outside of El Descanso in Colombia. seeing burials with names carved by hand, with misspellings due to illiteracy. it reminded me of home, the lack of resources to those that need it most. those that I love who grew up without access to accessible education - because an educated proletariat is a dangerous one

I haven't visited her grave site. I'm sure she has a polished headstone with professional engraving. there seems to be a consistent feeling of bitterness that her wealth was derived from the exploitation of those south of our continent. the concept of deservingness and what bullshit it is

working on a video piece to wrestle with these irreconcilable contradictions and my own personal grief. thanks to everyone who has supported me through this time, love you all

it was leg day in Cincinnati at @bangbangtiki during the burlesque drag cowboy night!

capturing the abundance of theater, performance, and joy from both the performers and the crowd is a treat to experience ✨ and using a little flash definitely helps capture a crisp image despite the dark cozy bar setting

proposal photos should feel like connection with your life partner, not a performance for the camera 📸 how does a photographer make that happen?

personally, I implement somatics-based practices and connection games! we start with the couple holding hands and holding eye contact, breathing in sync, for 30 seconds... no photos, no speaking, just presence and contact.

then the couple makes a commitment to each other, to hold each other and support one another throughout the photoshoot. this gives the couple someone to lean on throughout the nerves of getting their photos taken!

from there, it's all about poses that incorporate movement and finding the rhythms of that particular couple: every individual and duo is going to be different and require different movement practices to settle into their nervous systems, especially after such a big life event!

the games are brought out once I can tell the couple has relaxed: the smiles come more easily, the shoulders are relaxed, and tension has melted away in place of laughter with their loved one. at that point, I throw it all out onto the floor - I encourage the couple to explore together with detailed games, allowing them to engage in play 🤸 because what's better than joy with your partner?

what do YOU think allows a couple to connect during a photoshoot?

Presenting ✨ Augie ✨

The star of the day: this sweet rottie and his owner Natalie were our cover-up for a surprise engagement shoot! To keep things a secret, we pretended Natalie had booked me for a photoshoot with her pup. And while that wasn't necessarily the case... We still had to get some cute shots with the time we had!

With only 10-15 minutes to get the client to the proposal spot, we were on a time CRUNCH! We moved past locations quick while trying to keep a relaxed pace, so as not to throw the client off. Shooting was off the cuff, dirty, and fun!

Thanks to Natalie for organizing this shoot and being a perfect cover story!

Thanks to Natalie for organizing this shoot and being a perfect cover story!

a sweet engagement shoot at Alms Park @cincyparks with @landonkirk_16 and @cmstevens26 organized by their best friend @nataliedandrea

we did a faux pet photoshoot with Natalie's rottie, Augie, to keep the engagement a secret! so stay tuned for those photos hehe

this was a quick shoot, with only about 30 minutes to get photos of the newly engaged couple before they had to go party 💃 keeping this in mind, I knew I had a limited time to help them feel comfortable in front of the camera and get enough photos to really represent such a special moment

I had them begin with a simple somatics centering exercise: take 30 seconds to hold hands, look into each other's eyes, and breathe in sync together. to set an intention to center on each other and commit to supporting one another during the rest of the shoot. and boy howdy, did they step up to the occasion! after that, I immediately threw them into some of my favorite couples games back-to-back until it was time to release them, with promised photos to be delivered that same evening

these are the results! they wanted natural, bright, and airy photos... which many of you know is not my usual style, but I was excited to challenge myself to deliver! for the majority (except my fun ones which are littered throughout the album) I kept color grading simple and minimalistic, really just trying to bring out the natural colors of the couple and the park

thanks Natalie, Corey, Landon, Augie, and Kayleigh for being a part of this shoot! lots of cheer and love to all

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
