Set in early 2000s San Francisco, What’chu Mixed With? follows Alexis—a shy, 14-year-old biracial girl struggling with identity and isolation—until a popular, street-smart teen from Hunters Point takes her under her wing.

This is a true full-circle moment — I attended SFBFF for the very first time at 17 years old, and that experience inspired me to pursue filmmaking. Now, 18 years later, I’m returning with my own film for its San Francisco premiere.
