The Bahama system by @alephalef.sound
We couldn’t shake the idea of a portable, RLA-style club stack — so we built one.
The Bahama tops run a dual 14” configuration, beefing up the mid-low section, paired with a horn+acoustic lens loaded compression driver and topped with the sweet JBL 2405 super tweeter.
Underneath each top, 3x18” bandpass subs — a specific design chosen for its thumpy, light low end.
HiFi components, Wide soundstage and a Warm and glamorous voice, with PA output.
Don’t miss it:

HOQS ELF- subwoofer with Lavoce SAF185.00 (my personal opinion)
ELF subwoofer loaded with the new LAVOCE SAF185.00 they were my personal surprise of this year’s Weekend of Sound.
The SAF185.00 adds a warm, friendly tone to the ELF subwoofer without missing the punch.
For me, this is the missing link between the very tight-sounding HOQS N185C—an excellent choice for techno and other high-BPM music—and a more inviting bass that better suits genres like house, rock, and pop, where a more vibing low-end character is often preferred.
Thank you @lavocespeakers, for bringing the ELF subwoofer cabinet back to my menu!

A wooden Solana Waveguide loaded with Lavoce drivers: How does that sound?
In the afterhours of the WoS 26, Liam (@spring__boot) and I assembled a wooden Solana with Lavoce drivers.
The first listening impression: this Setup sounds more “Hi-Fi” than the original driver combination. The sound feels warmer, the low-end a bit more vibrant.
Does it sound better than the original combination?
That depends on your personal preference. I couldn’t choose a favourite. Probably like comparing the sound of a DCX464 vs BMS4594 compression driver.
Does wood sound better than plastic?
Our first impression was that the difference in sound characteristics mostly came from the drivers. When playing at volume, the wood subjectively felt like less vibrations. The measurements didn’t show an obvious difference in distraction between the two WGs.
Details:
We compared a CNCed plywood version of the waveguide to a FDM-3d-printed version made from PETG. As you can see in the photos, the project in its current stage is more a prototype than a well-designed part. The measurements were done in a hurry and lack proper setup.

A passion project and a quest for the optimal system according to the following values:
- Highest sound quality possible, i.e. clarity and good imaging
- Deep low end extension
- Good directivity
- High energy efficiency
- Interesting visual design (but form follows function!)

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
