For those who can't read my handwriting, a message from Michael:

Thank you to everyone to came to the first lino show, in solidarity with or in ignorance towards my mother's condition. Thanks to freedom for organising food, second skin @secondskin.hc scadenza @scadenza.bnd , and I miss my mom @imiss.mym0m for their BOMBASTIC sets, smelly @sssmmeelllyyy , desiludildo @desiludildo nd rhenny420 @rory_hnsn38 for bringing the tunes ;) + thanks to the landlord for beefing us every 12 seconds about the noise.
we were able to raise about 450 pounds for my mum through tickets/ food and record purchases, thank you to everyone who contributed their time & money and for being a part of the event.

With that being said there will be future events in the future in support of my mother, as she is out of work and dealing with a massive financial strain in multiple aspects. Lino show #2 coming soon

Lino show is for Lino Recordings, Lino recordings is about DIY PHYSICAL MEDIA.
Lino Recordings are based in London and feature Modeless, Forever and Restlesstaxis, @modelessforever for updates.

Restless Taxis' new single "Don't call it cute" will be released next Monday, 4/20 on DSPs.

Following this they will be performing on Friday 4/24 at "LINOSHOW#1: CANCER FUNRAISER FOR MICHAEL'S MUM", organised by Restless Taxis and Lino Recordings (@modelessforever)

The show will feature bands and djs, food and CDs, from 7pm-4am at Islington Arts Club. Second release available now via RA, link in bio

Curated by Restlesstaxis and Lino Recordings, the first Lino Show will be an exhilirating cacophonic bonanza of screamo, hardcore, shoegaze and noisedub/ noise rock bands, interwoven with dj sets of genres ranging from ghettotech to footwork and jungle, hosted at Islington Arts Club on Friday 24th Apr. From 7pm-4am
Proceeds go to Michael (restlessstaxis) mum who is fighting cancer. Free somali/ jamaican food for early birds, first come first serve.

Restless Taxis, the genre-transient, noise-rock-influenced band based in London, has found their niche with the addition of Jess Nwosu and Dylan Haynes to their lineup just over a year ago, operating within the intuitive combination of the trio’s creative influences to bring a vision of a new sonic wave to fruition– one that incorporates a deeper sound and rhythm of the Black diaspora into the crushing sounds and cataclysmic renderings of shoegaze and post-punk’s usual genre-motifs.
