As twilight descends over Los Angeles, guests will gather on the back patio for a welcome toast and sweeping views of the city below—where tales of the Disney family and the home’s storied past set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
Inside the mansion’s grand living room—once host to Hollywood’s elite—experience The Cabaret of the Headless Horseman, a spirited performance featuring duo from the The All-Nighters: Ben Bromfield (keys) and Libby Ward (drums). Known for bringing vintage energy to LA’s finest speakeasies (including a decade of Sunday nights at The Varnish), they’ll be joined by puppeteer and vocalist Ricky Chavez, who brings his head in hand and his heart on his sleeve for a set of soulful and spooky tunes that bridge cabaret, vaudeville, and Halloween mischief.
Guests will then be seated in Walt Disney’s private screening room, where they’ll journey through the early days of Disney animation, including the creation of The Headless Horseman—a story Walt once worked on in this very room. The evening concludes with a special surprise from the mansion’s current owner, a celebrated horror filmmaker, who will premiere a chilling clip from an upcoming project inspired by the house itself.
You may just lose your head over this event—in the very best way.

there is a 100% chance I would NOT have ventured into puppetry if it wasn't for @adamkreutinger and the @puppetnerd YouTube channel. I built my first puppet, completely on a whim, in August 2022. I'm still not 100% sure why, but I know that it's because Adam's video made it accessible, easy, and fun. I could have never predicted how much joy it would bring me and others and I'm so thankful that Adam shared his passion with others. I've built about 100 puppets since then and I can't stop. It's hard to find the words to describe how I feel: I never had the opportunity to meet Adam personally, but he has so directly affected my life and I am so thankful for his impact. Truly a beacon of positivity and his legacy will live on through all those he has inspired (which are A LOT of people). What an honor it would be impact others in the way Adam, his puppets, and his videos did. Rest in peace, Adam Kreutinger. Thank you for everything you have shared with the world. there is a 100% chance I would NOT have ventured into puppetry if it wasn't for @adamkreutinger and the @puppetnerd YouTube channel. I built my first puppet, completely on a whim, in August 2022. I'm still not 100% sure why, but I know that it's because Adam's video made it accessible, easy, and fun. I could have never predicted how much joy it would bring me and others and I'm so thankful that Adam shared his passion with others. I've built about 100 puppets since then and I can't stop. It's hard to find the words to describe how I feel: I never had the opportunity to meet Adam personally, but he has so directly affected my life and I am so thankful for his impact. Truly a beacon of positivity and his legacy will live on through all those he has inspired (which are A LOT of people). What an honor it would be impact others in the way Adam, his puppets, and his videos did. Rest in peace, Adam Kreutinger. Thank you for everything you have shared with the world.
