Man I'm so excited that this finally landed in my Mailbox today! I been a fan of @jamelshabazz work since I first spotted his work as a youngin when it started poppin up in Source Magazines, Vibe Magazine etc. and I was captivated by the essence he captured with his Photos. This is my first Book I purchased of his work but definitely not the last! Love this!🙏🏾💯🔥🔥🔥#jamelshabazz #photography #hiphophistorian

Before there was social media. Before streaming. Before artists could upload a song and go viral overnight… there was one dream for every hungry underground rapper in America: getting featured in The Source magazine’s legendary “Unsigned Hype.”
And in July of 1996, Fayetteville’s own Characta Assassinz made history by becoming the FIRST Fayettenam rap group ever featured in Unsigned Hype.
A lot of people compared them to Wu-Tang Clan because of the size of the group and the different personalities and styles within it. The lineup included S.R.D, Rik Marvel, Demented, X-Style, Kinetix, and J-Rock. The member circled in this picture is Rik Marvel — one of the group’s producers and still respected today for the incredible production work he continues to do.
What makes this accomplishment even crazier is HOW they got there. No co-signs. No internet buzz. No social media marketing. They simply submitted their music to The Source’s Unsigned Hype submissions and stood out enough to be selected during one of the most competitive eras in hip-hop history.
Back then, Unsigned Hype was one of the only ways an unknown artist could get discovered nationally. Many artists who appeared in that section would eventually land record deals and go on to become major names in hip-hop.
Even in this article, The Source highlighted Rik Marvel’s lyrics — proof that Characta Assassinz weren’t just making noise locally… they had real talent that demanded attention.
This is a powerful piece of Fayetteville hip-hop history, and an important reminder that our city has been producing legendary talent for a long time.
Much Fayetteville hiphop legend was originated in this collective, including the RPMCs and 4ord. I am going to circle Rik Marvel and tag him in this. Shoutout to him for helping me with this story.

"Everything was all good just a week ago...." A time was had out in Hamburg. The Samy/Conductor Finnissage at @levis Music Studio above Millerntor-Stadium was a Vibe. Choppin it up with @conductorwilliams , @skam2official and the rest of my Brothers @afrobofficial and samydeluxe was a much needed trip out of the City. Ran into the incredible @alexandraprinceofficial and also @jackmodeknows from Hometeam (K-Town represent!) Hamburg was definitely Hamburgin 😁💯🔥🔥🔥

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
