'Enter the Glampong' serves as an immersive window into Geylang Crunk—a "Psyberpunk"

universe developed by METAMO Industries where Southeast Asian street culture meets the

future. Set in the year 2065 within the futuristic city of Neo-Santara, the game offers a new way

to explore street art by fully recreating Singapore’s Kampong Glam as a vibrant, mixed-reality

district. It seamlessly blurs the lines of reality by fusing physical art, AR, VR, and gaming into

one limitless digital canvas.

Real-World Artistry

As players explore the digital neighborhood to discover hidden murals, all the artworks and characters they encounter are created by real Singaporean street artists from the community, with cutting-edge character 3D modeling brought to life by METAMO Industries. LEUKO-SITE: Angel in the Vein is a roving butoh activation within the Heart Chamber Corridor Exhibition at Aliwal Arts Centre. As a living leukocyte white light, angelic yet biological, the white blood cells moves in an ethereal fibre‑optic glow, sensing the pulse of artworks, people and space. Glacial, wordless and untouchable, this luminous presence contrasts celebration and invites deep listening to the inner cosmos. Will purity endure, or will a hidden parasite be found?

🫀The Heart Chamber Journey to Symbiosis👁️
To create the vision of a living breathing organism, we had the opportunity to create the heart of Kampong Glam in the Corridor of Aliwal Arts Centre, giving pulse and opening portals into the heart of each artist involved in Heart Chamber. Inside the Aliwal Arts Centre, the Heart Chamber Exhibition by @rscls offered an immersive experience through sound, visuals and live performance. 🫀❤️

I also had the chance to meet other Arts practitioners there & even be guided on trying out graffiti art.

The festival showcased how heritage spaces can be honoured and preserved, while continuing to evolve as places where youth ideas, voices and creative expressions can take shape alongside.

🫟 Meet the artists who turn our plain white walls into sprawling murals!

This year, SHEEP (@sheep.chen), a street artist and muralist from China, collaborates with tattoo artist WOLFSLOTH (@wolfsloth) to bring the festival theme 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘴 to life at the New Feature Wall. Their mural blends SHEEP’s radiant sun motifs with WOLFSLOTH’s mythical creatures and nature‑inspired forms, creating a vibrant tribute to Kampong Gelam’s living heritage.

Over at the back wall of Aliwal Arts Centre, Egg Fiasco (@eggfiasco), a visual artist from the Philippines, and muralist‑illustrator Chris Chai (@cosmicchai) team up for a live graffiti painting session — crafting a piece inspired by old‑school video games fused with surreal and futuristic elements.

At #AUAF2026, art isn’t just made – it’s co‑created.
