Not gonna lie, had a pretty rough day at @blackcanyonultras on Saturday. Heading into this race, I was excited to try to improve upon last year’s performance, but that wasn’t in the cards. I ended up struggling with nausea and vomiting from very early on. One day, I’ll consistently figure this stomach thing out!
Even though I wasn’t able to run the way I wanted, I’m thrilled for my new teammate, @jenniferlichter, who ran a very impressive new course record! And on her first go at 100k!
Sunday was also a total blast. I got to crew and cheer my friends, @cburns0, @alex__hildebrandt, and @catberad
These races would not be possible without the support of so many people - my parents, my friend @rosieskovron, my coach @adamferdy as crew. However, I really feel like the support is so much deeper than just the crew. All my friends back in Boulder give my life meaning and make this sport so fun on a daily basis. I am so grateful to have the support of @acg. Not only because of the gear and material support but because the people are great. I got such a boost from getting to see the shoe team cheering at Deep Canyon!

Riley Brady and Jade Belzberg tied for 7th place in the women’s voting for 2025. Riley Brady had an exceptional 2025 season, winning the Black Canyon 100k in February and setting a course record by nearly 30 minutes. After a DNF at Western States 100 in June, Brady won the Run Rabbit Run 100 in September, further cementing their status as one of the top ultrarunners in the sport. Brady also set a course record while winning the Quad Rock 50. ⁠

This was such a different experience than running trails. There are people everywhere! It was fun though to get to tuck into a pack even if I wasn’t able to hold on as long as I had hoped. Going into this race, I didn’t think I’d want to do another road marathon again. Leaving this race, I will definitely be doing a road marathon again. Lots to improve upon!

A huge pack of women nabbed the OTQ yesterday, and that is awesome. And so many of my friends from @the_track_club walked away with big PRs!

Well, after a snowy send off run where I clearly froze to death and got hit by a rogue snowball, I’m all packed and ready to have a go at CIM! It has been an absolute blast training for this road marathon with @the_track_club and I’m stoked to see how it all comes together on Sunday. Had a great weekend up in Steamboat, running around the mountains! Run Rabbit Run 100 was tough and beautiful (when I could see the course 😂). Going into this event, the race felt a bit outside my wheelhouse, but part of the goal was to learn some things about how the body responds to a different style of ultra.And mission accomplished! There were some things the team and I executed well and some things I really need to work on.

You can never blame the crew for things going wrong in a race, but they get all the credit when things go right. My team made this day happen. @cburns0 @kathryn_fluehr @rosieskovron @alex__hildebrandt and my parents made transitions so smooth and supported me before, during, and after the race (see the pic of Chelsea and Kathryn literally holding me up!). Plus, I had a couple guest appearances from my roomies, @troykellenberger and @cloudiaann who were actually crewing my teammate, @bricondo3. @radboulder wasn’t on the crew but always works hard behind the scenes to make sure I’m taken care of.
