The Traka. This photo is from 2019, a three wooden frame and a little panel that said traka (still conserved on the venue in case you wonder) we started the journey of what’s going to become the biggest event in European gravel. Nobody at that time knew that it was going to happen like it did, it was going to become so big, it was going to be a thing. Together with Unbound they are currently the biggest events by far in Gravel.
For those who don’t know Klassmark is an organizer who has trail running, used to have MTB events and now gravel events across Spain and the new introduction this year, by Traka across other countries. I’ve known Cristina and Gerard for a long time, and I tell you they work hard for this.
I normally don’t do this kind a post, but this matters to me scroll to keep reading 🫶🏼

Today felt like an ultra by car - a show is a show and it kept delivering, just like on a theater but without falling asleep. Gravel has still a lot to learn, I guess that’s the resume of the weekend.

« If you go further, you will see more.

Sara goes Ultra Ep. 3
In this episode, it’s not just about preparing your body for an ultra — it’s about getting your bike ready, too.
As it turns out, @cafedebedstee isn’t exactly the most diligent when it comes to keeping her drivetrain clean and dialed… so @samisauri had a few important things to point out.
„Okay confession time: I’ve basically never properly cleaned or fixed anything on my bike. Tell me I’m not the only one…..?! There must be more cycling queening slayerssss out there who just love riding and don’t really care about all the technical stuff. And honestly… that’s fine……Until it isn’t …
Apparently a clean chain = more watts? That’s what Sami told me hehe
Also, in Morocco I oiled my chain with olive oil, that isn’t really smart I can tell you…
I was going insane from the noise, some guys from a bar were like “we can help you”, and I just trusted them. The result was: a quiet chain for 5 minutes, then everything turned into one big sticky mess and it still is. Maybe it’s time I start taking care of my bike… or at least stop feeding it kitchen ingredients.“
Up next: things get practical. In the next episode, it’s all about maintenance and the spare parts you really don’t want to forget.

Sara goes Ultra Ep. 1
Our dear @cafedebedstee is going to face a huge challenge, taking on @thetraka 560 as her first ultra race in a few days. To get some last minute advice and learn everything she needs to know about ultra events, she teamed up with endurance enthusiast @samisauri
In the first epsiode, it’s all about weight: „I felt even a little bit embarrassed when Sami laughed at me about all the stuff I brought! Haha, it’s also funny because the thing I always recommend to people is to bring as less as possible… and somehow I always bring to much random extra things?
It’s the same when I leave the house my bag is always full with random stuff instead the most important but jaaaa :p
Luckily Sami helped me out and this is what she recommends to bring:
1 down jacket
1 emergency sleeping bag
1 pair of leg warmers
1 extra cycling bib
a small rain jacket
earphones
powerbank
I’m so impressed with how less it is haha, sooooo I feel like I’m gonna fly 🫡🫡“
In the following episodes Sami is going to teach Sara some uncommon knowledge and common mistakes. Stay tuned.

We share the success all the time but not many times the failure, and this time I sett off for failure but at least i tried.
A new challenge that didn’t went to plan basically, I have a hard time putting words into this and even maybe I’ve thought about if I should to put it out or not, for some shame or for some I don’t know exactly how to express it but like people just look at you when you do good things and nearly doesn’t feel right when you do wrong things. I set myself into quite a hard 2 days, this time not on the bike but on skis. The famous Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt, around 100km and 8000m elevation and I wanted to complete it in 2 days.
I haven’t had the winter on skis I expected maybe to have, but instead I did a lot of endurance long days on the bike. I was naïf enough to think that could help but as a friend told me today, from skis to bike works amazing but from bike to skis is probably not the same.
We started early but not enough, we had some set backs already on the first part, a broken binding and a ski a bit loose. My pace was not fast, my anxiety on this timed situation was high, I was mentally just thinking how bad I’m dealing with things and how slow I’m going. I was set for an adventure no matter what, I did meditate into this but the mountains are the mountains and they teach you when to stop.
So after a long and slow ski we stoped half way through where we really wanted to stop. La Foully, with its lovely supermarket that always saves me (it did on the tour du Mont Blanc gravel a few years back) and luckily we found a couple guys going back to Chamonix. So at the end of the day it was a win win because we learned, we did enjoyed and we spend time on this beautiful places called backyard mountains 🫶🏼
Thanks for the patience @adri.est , and so stoked to get to try some of the @millet_mountain product like their piramenta pant and the trilogy mega lightway jacket, because hey, this things are aloooot about weight and also @iaininnes let me some very light poles too! So thanks all :) I’ll be back next year better and faster 💪🏼

If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
