After a heart transplant, Heather returns to her quiet life in rural Northern Ireland. Earlier this year, I travelled to Amman to direct SEEN - another short film created with the charity Cinemagic.

Once again, I had the privilege of working with a brilliant group of young Jordanian trainees and industry professionals to bring this story to life - from script development through to a three-day shoot in the city.

SEEN tells the story of Layla, a teenage girl secretly training in martial arts despite her father’s disapproval. When her secret is revealed, their fractured relationship is tested. But as she fights for her dream, one question remains - will he ever truly see her?
