”Bandtape Vol.1“ is the second solo album from Sdewdent, who is best known as a Hip-Hop producer, on Eating Music. It is also the beginning of this ’Bandtape‘ series containing the inspirations and motivations obtained by Sdewdent from his daily musical practice and experience accumulation, and it is also a record of his personal life and thoughts.

27 tracks of rhythms, harmony and melodic motives from different styles - Instrumental Hip-Hop, Jazz, Afrobeat, Neo Soul, Gospel... Many exquisite musical ideas from classic albums and records are mixed and intersected here. Sdewdent sorted out these musical influences and gathered them into the form of this beattape to present piece by piece carefully.

If the self-titled album ”SDEWDENT“ was the beginning of his exploration journey four years ago, then ”Bandtape“ series is his new starting point for discovering and understanding himself, and he continues to move forward on the road of following those great music seniors.

In Search of the Land, a collaborative and eclectic album that is part poetry and part music. Sponsored by @twelvelitarts — a Cleveland-based literary arts and education nonprofit — the project has assembled more than 60 poets, musicians, singers, engineers and voices who either currently reside in or have roots in Cleveland, all for a musical exploration of the city’s story in a way that has never been done before. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Considering we all were in a global pandemic. Im not really sure how we completed this album but, we did. This project challenged and stretched me more than any other project I have ever been apart of.
