Amateurs talk tactics, professionals invest in logistics.
Today, we funded another critical fleet replenishment oiler to be built at General Dynamics-National Steel and Shipbuilding Corporation in San Diego.
The Department of the Navy continues to deliver a modern Combat Logistics Force, reinforcing the global reach and sustained lethality of our Sailors and Marines at sea.
To all the mothers out there, for what you do every day and for loving your children, Happy Mother’s Day!

For over 250 years, the Marine Corps has been first to fight—defending our Nation, always forward, always ready, always faithful.
The absolute precision of the @marines during the Marine Barracks Washington Evening Parade embodies the Corps' warrior ethos and unbroken legacy of lethality.
Thank you, Marines, for a wonderful evening. Semper Fi!

Proud to stand beside the warriors of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group who keep America’s shores safe and our global sea lanes secure. We look forward to welcoming you home. BZ!
My time spent aboard USS Bainbridge this past week reinforced why the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer continues to be the workhorse of our Fleet.
Today, we funded two more DDG 51 Flight III class ships.
From the Great White Fleet to the Golden Fleet, our Navy has maintained maritime dominance. With today's action, our shipbuilders will soon be at work delivering more of these lethal warfighting platforms. Let's go!

I recently returned from a visit to the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group for one reason: to personally thank America’s sons and daughters for completing a long, demanding deployment—from the High North to combat operations in South America and the Middle East.
Our @usnavy and @marines showed both allies and adversaries the grit and resilience that have defined the United States for 250 years.
I couldn’t be more proud to call these men and women my shipmates. They’ve taken care of us—now it’s our turn to take care of them.
Hooyah. Semper Fi.

They say an EOD tech dies twice— the first when their heart stops, the second when their name is no longer spoken.
Today, at the EOD Memorial Wall at Eglin Air Force Base, we spoke every name.
We honor warriors who walked the long, lonely path toward danger so others could live. They didn’t do it for glory, fame, or medals. They did it because the mission demanded it—and because lives depended on it.
We remember how they lived. We carry them forward. They will never be forgotten.

For over a century, from the Great White Fleet to today’s Golden Fleet, American and Australian Sailors have served shoulder-to-shoulder.
My meeting with VADM Mark Hammond, Chief of Australian Navy, reinforced that mateship.
Through AUKUS, we are doing more than delivering submarines—we are building a century of interchangeability and a decisive strategic advantage.
The modern battlefield demands a fundamental shift in how we build and deploy our forces. To maintain maritime dominance, the @usnavy and @marines are aggressively pursuing a hi-lo mix of capabilities. Drones and autonomous systems are critical force multipliers—lethal, adaptive and built for speed and scale.
