Now that I’m coming down from the high of Saturday night, I want to express my gratitude to our SDS students who graced us with their presence and delivered an extraordinary performance. I want to thank you for dedicating your time, energy, and trust in the process. I always want to put our students on a pedestal and do it in a grand manner, and I must say, mission accomplished. You left the audience yearning for an encore.

To the SDS team, I am incredibly grateful for the talent that I have the privilege of working alongside every day. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us, imparting knowledge, and inspiring us. SDS is a close-knit family, and the talent displayed by our girls is truly extraordinary. Thank you for pouring into our students and nurturing their art.

To our hostess with the mostess, who started the show off with a BANG. I want to express my gratitude for maintaining the high energy, and keeping the audience engaged throughout the show. Baby, you did your thing and the outfit changes, chef kiss! THANK YOU COOKIE💋

To all the people who help make the show run smoothly, the Pole kittens, my amazing bartender, videographer, DJ, and vendors. My mom and Fai’s greetings and check-in assistance thank you. You all are the reason SDS Showcase was a full unforgettable experience.

To the incredible audience that came out and showed us love, we could immediately sense your energy as soon as we stepped into the room. The space was so warm and inviting that our fears and nervousness melted away completely, all thanks to the love in the room. Thank you for making it tsunami on our students lol.

Guess what? Our annual student showcase is back this October 18th at 8 pm! It’s been a while since we last had one, so it’s going to be a big deal. We’ll have students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, showcasing their talents. And get this - we’ve got a surprise performance from the SDS team!

DJ Dave will be spinning some jams, and there’ll be a special host keeping the energy high all night. We’re even planning to involve the audience in some fun activities.

BACK TO THE BASICS!

During this stretch class, I went back to my roots and utilized basic foundational warmups such as pliés, tendus, forcing the arch, releve holds, and lunges to assist in this lower body focused session 🙌🏾 Did you know ‘tendu’ actually means to stretch? Stretch is DANCE as well! ☺️

Yesterday, I attended @chrome_seduction (Vera) poling after dark. The class is held on Wed and Thurs at 8 pm. Vera’s choreography with dramatic lighting in the background, chef’s kiss. Although I made a few mistakes, I kept moving! It’s perfectly okay to make mistakes; everyone does.

We’re dancing at a skilled beginner’s level, but we’re making our moves big and “extra.” You can register for her classes and others by following the link in my bio.
