Lindsey Williams
Proudly serving the 38th Senatorial District.

Happy EMS Week!
In my six years working in Harrisburg, I’ve fought to get our EMS and ambulance services more stable funding, which includes over $3.1 million in grants, but the work doesn’t stop.
A lot of people don’t realize that EMS agencies aren’t always funded by local taxes—some municipalities make large contributions, others contribute very little to their operations. That’s why it’s so important for individuals to subscribe to their local EMS services. If you need help finding which ambulance agency provides services to your home, click here and scroll down: https://senatorlindseywilliams.com/district/
One enormous thing you can do to support EMS crews and help keep them safe? When you see an ambulance on the side of a road, SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER! It isn't just the law, it's how we ensure that these crews get to come home to their families at the end of their shift!

On the eve of Pennsylvania’s primary election, @senatorsaval and I are proud to announce legislation to protect voters’ freedom to exercise their rights to choose their leaders and shape their communities without fear or harassment.
We’ve heard from election workers and community members that many voters are concerned about the presence of ICE at the polls. Our bill will prohibit federal law enforcement from being within 100 feet of voting locations and affirm that here in Pennsylvania, the people get to decide our future.

Congratulations to the students, faculty, and staff of the Shaler Area School District Middle School for being designated a Donald Eichhorn Pennsylvania Schools to Watch by thePennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education! This honor recognizes excellence in academic achievement, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational support.
What makes this recognition even more special is that Dr. Eichhorn was born right here in Etna. He dedicated his life to understanding how middle school students learn, and to training teachers on how to best teach those grades.
The leaders of the next generation were sitting in the auditorium this morning, hearing about someone who came from their neighborhood and made a difference. That's why I fight to ensure every student has a fully and fairly funded, comprehensive, effective, and contemporary system of public education. So they have the chance to go on and change their world.

Thank you to everyone who came to yesterday's Senior Social and made it a success! We had a great time sharing a meal in community with one another.
Plus, everyone had a chance to talk to our vendors and we got an update on how we can keep ourselves and our loved ones safe from scams-- including a game of Fraud Bingo-- from the @paattorneygen!
Thank you to Vintage Center for Active Adults for hosting us!

Congratulations to @commonplacecoffee on voluntarily recognizing their union today! It was my pleasure to host Commonplace Coffee and @ufcwlocal1776 in my office for their card check, and to personally count the signed cards. As someone who was illegally fired for attempting to organize a union at a previous workplace, it was an honor to be a small part of the process of these workers forming their union.
UFCW1776 will represent @commonplacesolidarity baristas, roasters, bakers, delivery team members, and more at the following locations:
• Garfield (5467 Penn Avenue)
• Mexican War Streets (1501 Buena Vista Street)
• Rockwell Park (7514 Thomas Boulevard, Suite 100)
• Southside Works (428 S. 27th Street)
• Squirrel Hill (5827 Forbes Avenue)
• Northland Public Library (300 Cumberland Road)
• Headquarters & Roastery (1004 Washington Boulevard)
Stop by any of these locations and show your support to this worker-friendly local business!

Thank you to @ltgovdavis for coming to Sharpsburg to talk about lowering housing costs for our families. My office is hearing more and more from people about how rising costs are affecting them—whether it’s groceries, gas, rent, or utilities, everyone is feeling the pinch.
Here in Allegheny County, we have some unique challenges around housing costs, as we have some of the oldest houses in the country. As a result, our repairs and our utility costs are more expensive than average, and right now, that’s especially painful. That means we need to invest in programs like Whole Home Repairs, that help keep our seniors and families make the repairs that they need to stay in their homes.
We also don’t have enough safe housing for people. I’m really proud to support the state investments in places like the new riverfront development in Sharpsburg, which is going to include new housing and jobs. That money has also gone into improving the existing community, which is so important, because we cannot leave the people who built this neighborhood behind, or price them out of their current homes. That isn’t what building community is about, and it isn’t what’s best for anyone.

Thank you to @wqed and @pa.pbs for honoring me with your Good Neighbor Award as one of the 2026 Champions of Lifelong Learning!
Being recognized as a Good Neighbor by the home of Mr. Rogers and Daniel Tiger is one of the highest honors I can imagine. Like our local PBS stations, I believe in the power of education, libraries, and books to open doors to worlds, perspectives, and opportunities that we never imagined.
Every child in Pennsylvania deserves and is entitled to a fully and equitably funded education, and I’m proud to fight for that every day.

Happy Drinking Water Week!
Investing in our water and stormwater infrastructure has been a priority for me since I took office. I've advocated for additional grant funding for these projects in our state budget, and I've supported projects here at home.
I'm so proud to support projects that protect our constitutional right to pure water. That means supporting grants for everything from upgrading facilities at the McCandless Township Sewer Authority to chlorine-free ultraviolet sanitation, which keeps chemicals out of our watersheds, to fixing aging facilities at the Brackenridge Water Filtration Plant.
We all deserve to have access to clean, safe drinking water.

Study after study has proven that the best way to detect and deter fraud is to protect the employees who see it and who come forward to report it.
That's why Pennsylvania needs a False Claims Act to encourage whistleblowers to come forward and report false or fraudulent claims against the Pennsylvania government and protect taxpayer dollars.
The Commonwealth Fraud Prevention Act that I'm sponsoring with @senatorkristin would stop Pennsylvania from leaving millions on the table.
On Friday, I visited the Pittsburgh branch of @read_with_lampto celebrate an increase in last year's state budget, and to advocate for continued investment in this incredible resource.
LAMP, as it is affectionately known, helps extend the joy of the library to people who can't access traditional print media. That means providing free materials in formats like braille, audio, described movies and large print for people who can't read standard print.
It also means providing community, through regular programming like their weekly accessible game hour, which I had a chance to join. We enjoyed playing Uno, with cards marked with braille, plus small accomodations. Instead of a central discard pile, we passed a combination discard/draw pile from player to player. These small changes made the game easier for everyone-- and we all had a blast!
Thank you to LAMP for inviting me to join you for game hour, and for all you do to help build community that is accessible for everyone.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
