we are delighted to bring sergio sp out west for cc06! bringing a sound that's raw, intentional, and deeply connected to the dance floor, sergio sp cultivates a space where movement and rhythm become a steady current.. a perfect driving energy to take us into the late hours!

Behind the moniker Sergio SP stands Toronto-based artist Sandro Petrillo, a long-time traveler of Canada’s underground corridors. His sets move like whispered spells — hypnotic rhythms, low-end that trembles the core, and a sense of unseen forces shaping the room. Sergio works in the liminal: the frequencies between places, the emotional thresholds where dancers slip into shared trance. Drawing from nearly two decades in shadow-soaked venues and forest sanctuaries, he builds sonic portals that fold time inward. Each performance is a quiet ritual, an invitation to dissolve into depth, intuition, and the collective pulse.

Phabet Fatigue is a track I’ve been sitting with for a minute, made mostly after an evening of listening to low end weight in a very nice dance environment. A sort of sketch of the evening - I’d open the project periodically and tinker with it. Eventually it landed where it’s at, in a warm swamp :-) a tie to sounds I love to bring to the festival, a spirit of depth and earth movement.
