A little sunroom and master suite addition right here in Inglewood.Loving the paint colors on this one!Any time I get to use colors found in nature I'm secretly jumping for joy on the inside.
I guess we could call this mushroom with a bit of tree bark.
Or the Cumberland River. 😉

Who's ready for Fall?! The crisp weather, the beautiful leaves, earlier bedtimes 😜 and I guess for some of you, pumpkin spice lattes. For me, it's an excuse to start burning my balsam fir candles and working a puzzle by the fire like I've entered into early retirement.I'm just saying, I can't wait for Fall, and I hope it's a long one!

I'm going to out myself. I don't enjoy cooking.Aaron loves it.He says it helps him relax at the end of the day.For me, it's like a cherry on top of a stress sundae. But this kitchen is enough to make me want to rethink that. Maybe just to bake a cake or jump on the sourdough bandwagon. (Maybe not?) Creating those spaces in a house that inspire us, allow us to be completely comfortable while moving freely through the space, or spark creativity, that's what I love about designing custom homes.

Happy weekend ahead! And happy cooking to those who love it!

In 1870, the primary suite bath was definitely not a thing. Now 3 seater outhouses were! So when it came to the addition on our little workers' cottage in Historic Germantown, every inch of space mattered. Here, we add high windows to allow in natural light while maintaining precious wall space for the vanity.Above the wainscoting is bright and white with both tile and a continuation of the wood framed wall panels, bouncing plenty of light around the room. ...much needed for putting on makeup or shaving your legs! 😝

This beautiful piece of property, just outside of Nashville, was originally a retreat for the owners to get away for a weekend, but it was calling to be something more and with the ever growing population of Nashville, they decided to make it just that and build a new full-time home.

The house is situated just within the lightly wooded area of the site with views out to the field. The forest behind and beside provides a buffer from neighbors and the nearest road. The large, expansive porches and tall windows allow the home to easily open up to the exterior expanding the livable space.

The Monroe Street DADU made it in @dwellmagazine !

The original home, built in the 1860s, served as a worker's cottage in the Germantown neighborhood. It was built entirely of brick in the typical C-shaped plan with the porch infilling the void space. The standard dimensions of each gable end was 18 feet across and 18 feet tall at its peak. In the design for both the addition to the house and for the DADU, this dimension and massing was carried through 4 additional times, 2 at the house to create living space, and 2 at the DADU perpendicular to one another.

By maxing out the coverage of the site, the DADU is just over 420 square feet with a low height loft above the bedroom and bath. @therealblocke has efficiently used the space to create a playful and cozy living unit. He brings in natural wallpapers, fun furniture, lots of color, and many personal pieces of art to make it his own.

The DADU has large glass doors that open up to a shared court between it and the house allowing it to expand the family living space directly connected across the courtyard.

The round window on the main house is an element seen throughout Germantown utilized to vent attic space. It is replicated at the DADU to allow light into the loft space.

The kitchen, the heart of the home, connects to both the conversation pit and the courtyard, making it the perfect central space for large gatherings. On the cabinets, we replicated the same moldings used on the walls to create a cohesive feel. The client also has an amazing collection of lighting fixtures that she repurposed throughout the house. All of these little details are hers, helping to make this house her home.

Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
