In 2023, I started an apartment coffee pop up called “Coffee & Vinyls”.

Its creation was a result of a dream to one day start my own coffee community & business, but at the time I was a full time educator also pursuing my masters degree in counseling psychology. I always told my students that when you really want to build something, you know you really care when you make time for it. And I had to absolutely model that for them.

I didn’t want to put the vision on hold, so I decided to work with what I had, also with no official experience in coffee. I wanted to create a space that felt like a second home for the people I both deeply cared about and who I thought were dope af.

C&V was rooted in community, our love for music with 2 records rotating every session, and a minimalist but very dialed in coffee menu.

I hosted 25 sessions, and it was one of the highlights of my late 20s living in SF. I’m happy to be continuing a similar space with my partner in crime in our new home located in SD. We host a community pop up for friends and friends of friends called Coffee & Baked Goods, and we’ve hosted a handful of them over the last year!

@sightglass has always been my go-to coffee when hosting in SF, and I’m both honored and deeply grateful to be partnering with them in this coffee journey. Their beans are consistent, solid for the medium roast lovers, and they are just superstars in cultivating community. I’m proud to be serving their coffee at all future pop ups and catering gigs.
