Ben Reed and I were stood next to each other at the bar at the 100 Club earlier this week and a woman approached us to tell us she felt like she was looking at good friends George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
It's quite literally uncanny...

It's official - 2025 saw my voice reach 1 BILLION streams on Spotify alone! The numbers are by no means the reason people get into music but it's also hard to ignore when it's one thousand whole millions...
Huge thanks to @samplereplays who single-handedly kick-started my session career, the artists for bringing so many people together with great tunes and a special mention to @kevinmckay for his help, advice, business know-how and above all, his tireless music making.
2025's going to be tough to beat but as long as people keep listening, I'll keep on singing at them! Happy New Year one and y'all!

Here's my one effort at a Christmas song, made on an old Nintendo GameBoy - the same grey one that usually came with Tetris and could only be played at night if you sat upside down 3 feet from a light source 271.396 degrees away (and it wasn't all that much better during the day!).
You'll hear this and loads more on Friday night @cassidys.alton

I didn't reflect on this massively at the time but at the end of 2023 I got to play some of my favourite Supertramp music at the beautiful @sallepleyel in Paris, on a genuine 70s Wurlitzer Electric Piano, alongside O.G. Supertramp saxophonist @johnanthonyhelliwell .
In the midst of a technical issue, I also told an audience of 2500 people to be silent and sang a song completely acoustically, without a mic or any kind of connected speakers. What a buzz!
John was supposed to join the band for 4 or 5 songs during the first set then go off stage again before returning for the final few songs of the second set to close the show.
To the bands' surprise, instead of leaving the stage he took his glass of wine and spent the rest of the set sat in the on-stage deckchair (a prop referencing the cover of Supertramp album "Crisis, What Crisis?"), either gesturing parts of the song on his own imaginary air-piano or sitting back with his eyes closed listening intently to the music and hopefully remembering Supertramp's glory days.
John was very much the MC and frontman of the band, talking to the audience between songs and making quips referencing the title of the next song. Having listened to Supertramp's live "Paris" album I know many of these word for word.
"You know something about playing in Paris? It makes me feel very LOGICAL" as they launched into their hit "The Logical Song".
So when it came time to close the show with our rendition of The Logical song, I turned to John and asked him a question:
"John, how does playing in Paris make you feel?"
He paused for a second and shot me a very confused look which briefly suggested he was unhappy I'd put him on the spot.
But a smile quickly spread across his face as it all came back. I held the mic out for him to reply, "Very Logical...!"
As we left the stage together I congratulated him and he told me I have a great stage presence. Perhaps because so many of my lines were lifted from his own!
Definitely one of my most memorable gigs and a treat to play such great music with a true legend!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
