In her book “What If We Get It Right?”, Dr. @ayanaeliza includes a Climate Action Venn Diagram that helps you find where your skills, your joy, and the work that needs doing in the world all come together into meaningful action for the Earth.
The last time I worked through it, I struggled — and I keep coming back to it.
What I’ve come to see: the personal and the professional don’t have to collapse into one. Professionally, I work as a climate organizer and impact producer. Personally, I’m a gardener — food crops, native plants, dirt under my fingernails on a good morning like this one.
And so, from the heart of my personal Venn diagram — a dispatch from the garden. 🌱
Photos of some of our plant friends who make us, and many other creatures happy on a daily basis in our own little corner of the planet.
Happy Earth Day. 🌍

Thanks for having @laclimateweek out for your @almabackyardfarms #EarthDay Giveaway. We loved making seed balls and meeting all your guests!

In case we’re not connected on LinkedIn, I wanted to share a piece of professional news and a reflection I posted there earlier this week. Swipe ➡️ to read it.
As I think about what comes next for me, I’m also very aware of the moment we’re in—and how much it’s asking us to engage closer to home. That instinct was shaped early on by the work and example of @janegoodallinst, and it’s guiding where I’m headed now.
If you’re looking for something timely and concrete to do right now: call your representatives and ask them to abolish DHS. Join the general strike tomorrow if you’re able. Show up where you are, with the hands you have.
Sharing reflections here—keeping my attention, and my energy, on what comes next for the US, for humanity and life as we know it.

Have leftover apples from the holidays, make a vegan pie. Not my best. I was sleepy. Hopefully it tastes alright.

Trying to be like @noah_vernick with these #upcycled cuccidati using fig preserves left over from the fig cocktail syrup I made for Thanksgiving. Their syrupy origin made them extra flavorful.
And for the #vegans out there, I was reminded that traditional Italian cookies have no need for egg or butter replacements. The fat in these is olive oil, which is the original recipe.

I’m laying on top of you, so *technically* I’m not “on” the couch. You should be more specific the next the next time you make arbitrary rules, Spare.

A fave tradition I was glad to renew this year. My winter solstice wassail.
This year I made a concentrated “mother” batch that used throughout the night. By the end of night this pot was empty and so was our big carafe.
Next level to unlock next year is finding fresh pressed local cider. Send me your recs LA friends!

Perhaps the most reverent night of my life meeting @johnfugelsang for his #separationofchurchandhate book tour.
Grateful to him for his illuminating scholarship, and more than anything his advocacy for the LGBTQIA community and the environment.
His humor is also not to be missed. I’m sure my sarcasm won’t be lost on him.
Thanks @booksoup for organizing and @stephaniemillershow for hosting!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
