I took these photos of Marta Kostyuk one year ago in Poland, when I was sent to my first tennis assignment. Back then, my knowledge of the sport was pretty limited. All I knew about Marta is that she had won one trophy in her career and had a dog accompanying her on the tour.
Coincidentally, that encounter got me absolutely hooked on tennis.
Today, Marta has a second doggo, she's unbeaten on clay this season, she's won TWO tournaments in the last couple of weeks already (including her first WTA 1000 in Madrid today) and I have an athlete I'm so proud of.
