Had a lot of fun editing this when it was released a year ago. Love both of these guys and the rest of the EM folks.

Whilst studying in NYC I set a target to display my work in Times Square, fast forward and I ended up coordinating a giant multiscreen setup right in the heart of it.

My role was assembling and coordinating all 12 screens as well as creating custom 2D motion design sequences/effects that went alongside the @odesza cinematic visuals.

This is a short snippet of the entire piece which mainly features my contribution. Below is the full description of the project:

To celebrate ODESZA's new record The Last Goodbye, Ninja Tune and Amazon Music came to us to create a site-specific video installation in the center of Times Square – transforming a 15,000 square foot LED billboard into a kinetic journey through the album's psychedelic universe.

Challenging perspective with both original motion graphics and 3D imagery taken from The Last Goodbye's cinematic universe, we brought audiences on a two minute immersion through the album's tracklist – all of which was broadcast live on Amazon Music.

Aired the day before the record release on July 21st, 2022.
