Would you look at this sexy ass truck? The color, the wheels, the stance, & of course the performance. I am living in a dream getting to drive this C10. I can't thank Wally, his family, & Barry & his guys enough for this opportunity.

Thanks to my dude @we_4lo for capturing the beauty that is @tthegripproject from the @racingbyrds AutoXtreme event in Vegas a couple weeks back.

After chasing this trophy for 4 years we finally got to take one home with us. I can't say enough good things about Wally's #TheGripProject C10. It ran flawlessly in back to back weekends in Texas. Thanks goes out to Wally, the whole Logan family and @Barrysspeedshop. These incredible opportunities aren't lost on me. The pride I feel being able to represent the TCI brand at a high level can't be overstated. To go from being the guy on course taking pics for all those years to being able to wheel one of the baddest trucks on the planet is simply amazing.

What a rad weekend all around. A last minute change of logistical plans meant my Dad had to fly in for the weekend. Having my Dad there was icing on the cake. He just keeps me in the right frame of mind and focused on the task at hand. Nevermind the fact that he takes care of every little detail throughout the day. He handed out a bunch of Hot Wheels to the kiddos and also got a bunch of pics and vids. All while enjoying every minute of it. Thanks Pops!

AutoX course #1: We had top time in Truck and were 5th overall. It was a fun but technical course that rewarded patience and composure.

AutoX course #2: We had top time in Truck and were 4th overall. This was a more chaotic course that rewarded big cajones and complete trust in the vehicle at the limit.

Drag Race: We finished in 5th place. I actually felt we had gone quicker than the 8.0, based on the 7.9 we ran in Vegas a few weeks ago with a lackluster 2.15 short time. The drag strip is one of my favorite segments from a driver standpoint but damn if it hasn't hosed me time and time again. So we have a love/hate relationship right now.

3S Challenge: My first lap ended up being enough for the win but we went even faster. If we can just gain a little starting line traction it will help us with this event and the drag strip. I ended up 5th overall.

The really crazy thing is I would have scored more points if I was driving this truck in the Vintage class. That's just a testament to the level of trucks that are playing this game right now.

Quick update from Day One LS Fest TX

Sitting 1st in both course 1 & 2. 4th overall on TrackX and 5th overall on the small course

Course 1 was a great departure from courses in previous years. It took a minute to find a rhythm but the truck made that easier. I sat out for 2 laps after drag racing just so I could have lunch and just regroup in the chaos. Probably a dumb idea since looking at Live Timing almost everybody ran their quickest laps at that time.

Course 2 is and always will be my favorite. This dang truck just loves the faster stuff. There was no course walk so we went in blind. Scary considering the highly anticipated 90+ mph finish line. 1st lap out I kicked an unimportant cone, missed 3rd gear and coasted the finish. That lap would have been fast enough for the win. Knowing we were only getting 3 laps I had to get a clean lap on the board. Played it cool on lap 2 and went even faster. For lap 3 I sent it a little too hard and went slower.

Drag strip, no times are shown or provided. We are in the dark until awards. The truck felt really good so I'm hopeful we did well. It will remain a mystery until tomorrow night.

Day One C10 Nationals Texas with the @tthegripproject

The truck is working extremely well but cones are super easy to collect on this tight course. The Shootout is going to be tough.

Absolutely unbelievable that Wyatt is graduating HS in a few weeks. His Mom and I couldn't be more proud of his work ethic and dedication. This kid can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

What a crazy weekend in Vegas for LS Fest West. Unfortunately, the Camaro continued to fight us after my other post. I made 2 attempts at each of the autocross courses but was not able to successfully complete a lap under power. I came close on my first lap at the small course. I made it all the way around to the "Donut Box" and then it went into limp mode (throttle body errors). We exhausted as many avenues as possible trying to correct the issue but decided to just pack it up and let Barry and his crew diagnose it.

There are a million little side stories that I could write but I'll keep this simple. I was bummed of course but it really allowed me to just take in and enjoy every moment with my parents and racing family. I appreciate all of you guys for coming out.

The real hero through all of this was and is Wally. This crazy dude was prepared to sacrifice his own weekend in the C10 (which was going extremely well) so that I could continue in the Camaro. Both of his vehicles use as many of the same parts as possible. So he was fully willing to give up whatever parts the C10 may have to keep my hopes alive.

After the disappointment of not being able to continue, the highlight of the weekend was putting two laps in Wally's C10 on course #1. You all know how comfortable I am in it so I won't rehash that. I heard a lot of complaints about Robby's Cobra this weekend. Basically, it is a cheater car due to its size, weight, power, aero etc. For those people, just know that a C10 can and did outrun it. 😎

I heard a lot of complaints about Robby's Cobra this weekend. Basically, it is a cheater car due to its size, weight, power, aero etc. For those people, just know that a C10 can and did outrun it. 😎

Man, I definitely let myself and the team down tonight at LS Fest.

I was so excited to run against Wally on the first lap. Unfortunately, a mechanical issue had other ideas. Thanks to @myredlinelife @that66nova @murillofabworks @frankietru @goosseperformance @revscfrank @hunkedout_racing for getting me everything I needed to get it running again. With only 2 laps left and a surface that was going away I got back in the lanes.

Pretty much everyone I spoke with said the surface was bad. So I just planned to baby it out of the hole and just try to get down Broadway. Even that didn't go as planned. I tried minimal RPM, maybe 2000 and feathered the clutch. The tires spun immediately. I lifted and tried to reapply throttle and it spun again. So I tried to short shift 2nd and got denied, twice. Once in 2nd it spun the tires again with maybe 20% throttle. I successfully shifted to 3rd and the car just grew wings. It was on a mission. The short time & ET were of course terrible but the dang thing ran 126 mph.

I only had one more chance to make it happen and failed miserably again. 2nd lap was even worse with traction and shifting. This was not how I envisioned the weekend starting off. I am now way behind the class leaders and likely down a bunch of points. I have a steep uphill battle now moving into day two. Tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity.

The Dream Team right here. @barrys_speedshop is putting in all the hours to get Wally's vehicles ready for #LSFestWest

Ran out of time before C10 Nats to get the rear gear swapped to better match the new engine's powerband. So that's going in the C10 now. Looking forward to seeing Wally back at LS Fest after letting me wheel the truck last year. He was fast and confident last weekend so I'm confident he will do well.

The only change to the Camaro will be rear springs. Technically it's the same total rate, we're just getting rid of the spring rubbers we installed at MATS. Also trying to get the windows installed in time but if not there are window nets available. I'm nervously excited to run the Vintage class in the Camaro. It'll be a stacked field and I'm embracing the challenge.

Always funny the difference in window UP vs. window DOWN requirements with drag racing vs. autox

Wally and I had a successful weekend in Vegas at @c10nationals in #TheGripProject

It didn't take long for us to get reacquainted with this awesome truck. The @lvrscca course layout was a great test of the changes that were made in the off-season. The front to rear weight bias is the best it has ever been and there were two areas where the ABS kept us out of the marbles. Wally was able to come within a .049 of David. This was a huge confidence booster leading into LS Fest.

While I may have kicked a few too many cones on Friday, I was able to lay down what could have been Top Time of the Weekend on just my 2nd lap. I eventually found my groove, cleaned up the cones and dropped another 8 tenths. All this with a total of 11 laps on Friday and 3 on Saturday. This truck never ceases to amaze with how easy it is to drive at the limit. We didn't make one adjustment to the #TCIchassis all weekend.

Going into the shootout I was very nervous. It was mine to lose and I was feeling the pressure. I have a track record of taking myself out of shootouts. On the flip side, David is absolutely rock solid under pressure. Wally made it to the semis where he faced off against David. He pushed a little bit too hard and DNF'd in the slalom. It would be David and I in the final where I finally redeemed myself winning best two out of three. Wally would end up 3rd having to do a runoff against fellow #TeamTCI member Austin aka @tallboyraceing

Can't thank Wally, Barry, all of Barry's guys, and especially Wally's Wife Kristie, for supporting his/our shenanigans at this level, enough. I'm over here living the dream driving these awesome vehicles.

I've been trying to get back to talking to myself during laps. It helps decipher mistakes as the memory of the lap fades.

Wally's C10 is even better than I remember. Sure, there were some off season upgrades but the main thing this truck has always been good at is predictability. This course built by @lvrscca was challenging in many ways. It had fast areas, it had slow areas, it had thread the needle full blown chaotic areas, and it demanded precision everywhere. The whole course was balancing risk vs. reward.

More details about an epic weekend at @c10nationals are still to come. #C10Nationals #AutocrossTrucks #WeRaceTrucks #TeamTCI #TheGripProject

Wanted to see what the new Borowski engine would do at The Strip. I'll have to find the slip from LS Fest '25 to see how close this was to the previous engine with Nitrous. Pretty sure this was within a tenth but down 5ish mph.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
