This is the first tea produced by the newly founded Kumaon Tea Factory – a farmer-owned production facility on the historic Chirrapani Tea Estate in Kumaon, India. Over 90% of the farmer-owners are women, many of whom are now earning their first source of independent income. Brimming with notes of limestone, sandalwood, and candied lemon peel, this brand new tea offering reflects the rugged beauty of the Himalayan foothills and entrepreneurial spirit in which it was produced.
