80% of the set design is made up of video elements.
Almost every media was 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, in constant interaction with moving set pieces, lighting, timecode, and the performers’ movements.

From on-site previsualization to projector remapping, and instant adjustments driven by the staging direction: SMODE gave the team full agility to 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 the entire video and LED setup from prep to showtime.

On stage, Raphaël asks his phone’s AI this strange question. What follows is a labyrinth of songs, ghosts, memories and layered screens. A karaoke drifting into vertigo.

We are proud to have supported "Karaoké", Raphaël’s new creation, developed with the artistic collaboration of @cyrilteste_mxm, whose premiere took place at Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord before heading on tour across France.

For several years now, we have been supporting Mehdi Toutain-Lopez and his artistic collective MXM, and this hybrid project, at the crossroads of theatre and cinema, perfectly embodies why.

Mehdi created the video design and led the live video direction, using the SMODE media server for real-time video integration. Mental images, illusions and the live stage merged into one breathing whole.

A total show. Musical, visual, poetic. A space where truth emerges between words, behind layered screens.

On stage, Raphaël asks his phone’s AI this strange question. What follows is a labyrinth of songs, ghosts, memories and layered screens. A karaoke drifting into vertigo.

We are proud to have supported "Karaoké", Raphaël’s new creation, developed with the artistic collaboration of @cyrilteste_mxm, whose premiere took place at Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord before heading on tour across France.

For several years now, we have been supporting Mehdi Toutain-Lopez and his artistic collective MXM, and this hybrid project, at the crossroads of theatre and cinema, perfectly embodies why.

Mehdi created the video design and led the live video direction, using the SMODE media server for real-time video integration. Mental images, illusions and the live stage merged into one breathing whole.

A total show. Musical, visual, poetic. A space where truth emerges between words, behind layered screens.

🎥 Smode Tech R13 + IA, le média serveur qui brille aux JTSE Awards 2025 !

Aux JTSE 2025, @smodetech a frappé fort avec une démo spectaculaire : une modélisation 3D de l’Arc de Triomphe, réalisée avec @holymage_studio, diffusée via le media server SMODE et projetée par @epsonfrance.

L’équipe des JTSE TV en a profité pour interroger Erwan Tehel, spécialiste produit chez Smode Tech sur la version 13 du média server SMODE, lauréat des JTSE Awards 2025 dans la catégorie vidéo avec de nouvelles fonctionnalités, notamment l’intégration de l’IA en temps réel pour modifier effets et projections en live !
