Meet Rachelle Esaid and San May, the artist facilitators who created roots, a series of creative hangouts for Palestinian youth 🍉

We are excited to present the program they dreamed up as emerging CACD (Community Arts and Cultural Development) practitioners, living on unceded Dharug land with a deep connection to Western Sydney.

Rachelle Esaid(@reshellved)is an artist and arts worker with a Bachelors in Visual Arts from University of Wollongong and a Cert IV in Arts Administration. She has worked in a variety of roles in arts organisations from venue management, gallery assistant to producing programs/events. Their artistic practice focuses on creating joy for her child self whilst acknowledging the difficulties she has with her current self. She expresses this through a variety of mediums, character designs and bright colours on a sullen image.

San May(@sndrmy) is a creative producer, community artist, and professional daydreamer who completed a Bachelors in Creative Arts for Film and Television Production from JMC Academy. Since 2017, they have been working in Western Sydney to deliver creative and artistic programs alongside community. San has experience in art education, event producing, festival design, and stop-motion animation. A strong advocate of human and social rights, San hopes their work inspires others to broadcast diversity in the arts.

They will be bringing their passion and skills to the free workshop series, running from March - August on Saturdays.

💌 Expressions of Interest open until 15 March. Link in bio.

Stay tuned to see who will be joining them as guest artists 📢

Where Shadows Sleep was held at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery in October 2025. The night acted as a conduit for spiritual conversations through making, performance, and most importantly rituals. Rituals we’ve brought from our homelands that continue to live within us.

There’s still a highlight reel to come but for the meantime enjoy some sneak peeks of the evening. Thank you to all the artists and contractors involved, and thank you to the shadows who are always with us.

2025 was such a great year for me both professionally and personally, I’m once again proving that I stand on BUSINESS 🫡 (only cried twice and that was from the stress of learning to drive so a win is a win)

inshallah next year is full of good food, boundless creativity, and continuing to make memories with friends 🥹

2025 highlights (not in order)
1. illustration from @zannaa_94 for my birthday
2. me falling in love with Vietnam
3. being in awe of Kaytranada’s concert production
4. breakfast board from artisanal cafe that I dream about every night
5. start of the creative Khmer stream in my life
6. Good fruit harvest from the backyard
7. @ebonywightman Makers Space making me feel like a spy kid
8. Making pickled olives with @reshellved
9. The bin chickens of Merrylands 🫡
10. Unlocked a new section of western Sydney
11. Museum dates with my parents @saarah.jpeg @sivani_finalcut
12. Sound gardens 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
13. Not heard: pitbull blasting on seacliff drive
14. Happy Tyler tour year to those who celebrate
15. I used to make these and now I’m on one???
16. @sokla.bel’s beautiful performance for Where Shadows Sleep
17. Me forgetting that you can’t see behind lights and letting this performance go on longer
18-20. Started a new side quest in Blacktown with art from @msunflowerartist

2025 was such a great year for me both professionally and personally, I’m once again proving that I stand on BUSINESS 🫡 (only cried twice and that was from the stress of learning to drive so a win is a win)

inshallah next year is full of good food, boundless creativity, and continuing to make memories with friends 🥹

2025 highlights (not in order)
1. illustration from @zannaa_94 for my birthday
2. me falling in love with Vietnam
3. being in awe of Kaytranada’s concert production
4. breakfast board from artisanal cafe that I dream about every night
5. start of the creative Khmer stream in my life
6. Good fruit harvest from the backyard
7. @ebonywightman Makers Space making me feel like a spy kid
8. Making pickled olives with @reshellved
9. The bin chickens of Merrylands 🫡
10. Unlocked a new section of western Sydney

The Gardens by the Kids is going to be a project that I hold so close to my heart 🥹 It was so fun to be guided by amazing 11/12 year olds and the inner child in me is so happy, kicking their feet in excitement.

Thank you @claudiachidiac_ for allowing me to be a part of the village and giving permission for a child pushing 30 to play 🌷🌸🌿🌻🪴🐝🌳

Our upcoming session will be led by guest facilitator, San May (@sndrmy). With Pride Month coming to a close, this workshop’s theme is Wrath Month-themed. As much as we love sharing love and positivity, we also love how it feels to be a hater! 😡🔥

So come ready and spill your rage with San & the rest of the crew! In preparation for the session, San has the following prompts for you:
🥀 Take the time to think about your favourite villains (from film, tv, musicals, history?).
🥀 Wear black (or other funeral colours), so we can host a little funeral for the things we hate.

We can’t wait to see you on Wednesday, July 16th for the fifth session. It is happening at Fairfield City Headquarters (@fairfieldcityhq) at the Vic Winton Community Room from 6-8pm. Drop in when you can, or attend every session. No experience required. These workshops are free, but please register your attendance via the link in our bio!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
