I’m excited to announce that my photos have been published in “Seeing Black: Black Photography in New Orleans 1840 & Beyond.”

I am blessed to be included in this book among so many amazing photographers, documentarians, and visual artists.

It is the physical realization of the many dreams I had when working on my master’s project TEN years ago. I cannot thank everyone enough who has supported me and put me in spaces that uplift me and allow my work to be seen.

My roots run deep in New Orleans. My family has been there for generations and I’ve spent so much of my life there. It was important for me to design this story with my culture in mind and my people at the forefront. ❤️
