Silent Stories is one year old today! I can’t believe how fast time passes. Doing this record was one of the hardest and most rewarding endavours of my musical life. Opening up is never easy and in this record I got to explore the deepst parts of hearbreak, grief, love and overall introspection.

I remember recording this and feeling so stressed and worried… I was getting adjusted to many new things in my life and every step felt like climbing the hugest mountain. It felt like driving with no lights on in a pitch dark road.

Showing and sharing this is not easy but I can’t really imagine it being a different way. I am so proud of this music and I can truly say it came from the most honest place within myself. I learned so much.

Today my rework of Reset by @felsmanntiley is out! I am truly honored to have been able to reinterpret one of my favorite songs in this album (and artists!)… a true pinch me moment for me !!! I remember exactly where I was when I got the request and I was so happy because their music has been with me since I discovered their first album…

It was really difficult to choose a track to rework but when I listened to Reset I was pulled into it’s magnetic energy right away… I spent the long winter nights working on it, experimenting with different versions and recordings in my friend Erol’s studio…who very kindly lent me his piano then. And as soon as I knew it I had I reached this version. After, I went into the studio with my good friend and collaborator @mmurrietav who helped me shape it and bring this vision to life!!!

It is always interesting to me to see where the music will take me, and in this case I was experimenting with a new synth and diving a bit more into piano processing and recording. Sometimes it felt a bit daunting because I truly enjoy their music and artistry, but I am very happy with the result!!

Me and @felsmanntiley haven’t met yet but I hope one day it will happen… for now I really hope you can enjoy this version of these two worlds colliding together :)
