Did you know that we have been making films? 🎥
Since 2022, we have been shooting hundreds of hours of footage to tell the story of our region and our founder.
We have big dreams for this story, as it’s a rare opportunity to represent displaced voices and platform Guatemala on an international stage.
Want to see more?
🎞️ @earthrise.studio and @earthalliance have supported us to create a 2 minutes mini-doc.
It’s called Aqui me Quedo, and you can watch it on Instagram and Youtube - link in bio!! With collaboration from our amazing editor @ess.s.s, music from @tomwillhill and colouring by @okaystudio @alexo.colour
🎞️ Our longer, 25 minutes documentary, “Of the Jungle and the Moon”, is currently in post production.
We are looking for funders to support our editing process and hope to bring the film to you early 2027!
Check out our film’s website www.ojamfilm.com to find out more.
Stories from our land rarely get told. Help us make sure this one does.

Every year, tens of thousands of people pass through Guatemala’s Petén forest hoping to reach the US. Baltazar Girón stopped in his tracks, and started again. He founded @solyverdeorg: a grassroots initiative restoring ecosystems and strengthening communities across one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable regions.
Aquí me Quedo, directed by @kalinsteen and @louelena.b, tells that story.
Aquí me Quedo is part of the Human Nature film series with @earthalliance, reconnecting humans with the natural world. You can watch it now using the link in our bio.

At the forgotten frontlines of climate collapse, Baltazar shows what it means to stay, turning hopelessness into @solyverdeorg, a community project rooted in resistance and reconnection with the land.
This powerful film reframes migration not only as departure, but as a radical fight to remain.
Aquí Me Quedo is the second film in Human Nature, a series in collaboration with @earthalliance on the interconnectedness between humans and the natural world.

In the past 20 years Petén has lost over 30% of its rainforest cover. This is largely due to deforestation, mining, cattle ranching, and industrialized agriculture.
On our small piece of land at Sol y Verde we are fighting to reforest what was supposed to become a landfill, and safeguarding one of the last living corridors of the howling monkeys. 🐒 This includes doing a lot of planting 🌴 but also a lot of trying to convince our neighbours and farmers to minimise deforestation and sharing with them the wonders of agroecology.
We’ve come a long way from where we began, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of organizations such as @chooselove @evoca.foundation @honnoldfoundation and @lushspringprize, our volunteers @wwoof, the community of Paxcamán and every person who has contributed in many different ways to our project. We are thankful for you! ❤️
📸🎥Special thanks to @studio.vhd and @kalinsteen for these pictures!

3,100+ community members engaged and 2.5 hectares of land reclaimed from landfill!
Field Trip to Tikal National Park with our Nature Youth Group 🌿🛖🐒
Our 24 young nature students went a incredible field trip to Guatemala’s greatest wonder of the Mayan world - Tikal National Park in the Maya Biosphere Reserve!
On the trip they learnt about forest protection, wildlife biodiversity and Mayan archeology and history. The field trip is part of the group’s weekly educational program which focuses of nature conservation, agroecology and mayan culture.
Thank you to @tikalnationalpark for letting us take a field trip to the park and @evoca.foundation for funding our Nature Youth Group program 🙌🌿✨

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.

Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.

The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
