I’m deeply honoured to be invited as part of the debut night of We, Otherwise - a new residency @tranzac292 presented by @insummerprod that offers a space for music, conversation, and connection.
Here’s my little collage of an all-vinyl soundtrack of intentional songs to inspire and facilitate a community poem-writing process. In honour of Mother’s Day, I have chosen much loved records by a diverse lineup of artists, sharing sounds that represent introspection, care, nourishment, joy, catharsis and resistance. The music will be woven to evoke a sonic narrative, with hopes to create a unique experience for individual ones to surface, through unapologetic reflection and expression.
We, Otherwise asks:
What happens when music becomes a place to meet?
Prior to my set, we’ll hear a special duo comprised of @veena_raga and @cao.lina blending the beautiful sounds of their guzheng & veena.
It’s PWYC! So, come through, take a seat with a friend, your mom, family or meet someone new.

Tomorrow! Breaking Sound! A month-long photography exhibition celebrating movement and music by Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist Rhandy Adolphe (@sambaranthony), produced by @trusttheprocesspress, our print project / music duo.
Part of @contactphoto, hosted @highnotesco!
Party all day with local selectors (1-9 pm), great coffee, excellent digging and free jazz interludes.
I’m on at 4:30 PM - the crate is filled with world-resonant wax in all languages and styles. Let’s dance!
🔊 ABOUT BREAKING SOUND 🔊
Through a body of work that fuses sound and sight through movement, the exhibition translates photography into visual sound waves captured through dance and DJ’ing. The installation explores vibration as a shared language; one capable of bending perception and dissolving boundaries between what we hear and what we see.
At its core, Breaking Sound reflects on the idea that all sensation originates from the same material force: vibration itself.
Visitors are invited to move through the space at their own pace, whether in stillness or in motion, and to return throughout the month to experience the work from new perspectives.
Exhibition Dates: May 1 – May 31
Viewing Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
About Trust The Process Press:
Trust The Process Press is an independent print matter project and DJ duo founded by Ola Mazzuca and Rhandy Adolphe. Their zine, MiBoSo, is about travel and its nourishing impact on Mind, Body and Soul, documenting experiences through vibrant film and digital photography, accompanied by haikus composed at every step of the journey. The reflective prose unveils perspectives that emerge when you’re fully present, in the company of love, while immersed in adventure-induced revelations.
Journalists by trade, they take pride in being thoughtful curators and selectors of global sounds that spark conversation and curiosity—sounds that foster connection and collaboration, honour heritage, while fuelling movement.

There’s the needle, then there’s the groove.
Fion Liu - aka Sadstab - embodies both.
The needle that grazes skin, in their role as a talented visual & tattoo artist. The groove within every fine black line that is traced.
The needle flows through spinning vinyl records, note by note, carefully curated. The groove that inspires movement - on the dancefloor, and in their place of work - the iconic @playderecord.
Friends and local music community, patrons and staff of Play de, an array of audiences - blessed by the tunes they select - artists, songwriters and bands - on buses or backstage - ready for new ink.
In this episode of Sound Travels, @olasconola connects with Fion on the tracks that have shaped their journey as an artist of many mediums, a true team player in Toronto, their signature style, and the person they are today - who is an honour to know.
Tomorrow! Sunday, April 5, Sound Travels takes a trip with @___j_o_d_i_e___ - syndicating her story and sonic journey with @anothersetting.radio.

A storied space on a special block - it all started with songs, converged with cuisine, culture libations.
It continues, intersecting with people, ideas, knowledge, celebrations.
Digging for the next track or transition, evolving into expansive conversation.
Enter The Little Jerry and feel it through the sound, smashing traditional systems, one record at a time. Cutting through the noise, societal and standard, no matter the speaker.
Owner and DJ, Jodie Dewald has cultivated a meeting place for the curious and the seasoned, led by music.
My personal history with The Little Jerry spans close to its inception - celebrating six years this fall - and I can affirm that it has changed my life.
We get into that and more as Jodie waxes poetic on the songs resonant in her upbringing, early forays in the industry, UK groundwork and creating the spaces you seek to be apart of, with integrity.

This month’s Mix Passport was recorded live @contxtbytrane the other week as we (@trusttheprocesspress) did a little test gig ahead of our Afro Brasilica residency launch tomorrow (March 26).
Super spontaneous and on the spot. Heart-filled and intuitive selections. Imperfect yet intentional.
A mixed bag of gems from Alcione, Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil, Arthur Verocai, Gabriele Poso, St Germain, Dego & Kaidi, Leila Chicot, Zin & more.
Join us tomorrow night - Thursday, March 26 - @ 8 pm - RSVP link is where you know it is.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
