Some people come into your life at a time when you need them most, even if you don’t realize it at the time. You were one of those people for me — a brother in every sense of the word. You were strong, brave, and real, guiding me through those years when life was messy, wild, and full of lessons.

We shared so much — the fights, the laughter, the nights when we had nothing but still felt rich because we had each other. Whenever I found myself in trouble, I could always go to your place, and you’d take me in. Even with everything you faced — the difficulties, the time in and out of your trials — you never lost your heart. You always showed empathy for the poor and the needy, even when we were troubled youths ourselves.

It’s been over twenty years since we last spoke, yet hearing of your passing brings a pain I didn’t expect. I wish I could share my life with you now, tell you about the journey, the lessons, the little victories. I wish you could sit here with me, and I could make you a cup of coffee, and we could laugh and talk about all the things only we understood — the trouble we got into, the nights we felt like brothers, the moments that shaped us.

I think of you often, I pray for you, and I hope Allah has accepted you, forgives your shortcomings, and granted you the highest place in Jannah. I hope He surrounds you with peace, light, and mercy.

Rest in peace, Iman. You were more than a friend — you were a brother, a guide, a presence that shaped who I became. You will always live in my heart, and your memory will always be a blessing♥️🌹 Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord ❤️‍🩹 K.O kid
