UK’s rising star, @wallacejimmygs makes his VanCity debut Saturday May 30th! Delighted to be collaborating with our friends @stepout.events on this one 😊🏠
Support from @max.ulis & @dj_legal 🔊
WALLACE offers a reminder of what club music can do in its simplest, most purely musical forms. His diverse, exploratory DJ sets present a neat parallel to his shape shifting journey as a producer.
With releases on seminal labels such as Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section, Erol Alkan’s Phantasy, and other pioneering dance platforms, Wallace has quickly become one of the most exciting names in modern music.
His finely-tuned productions quickly gained satellite support from the likes of Ryan Elliott, Avalon Emerson, Fumiya Tanaka and Marie Montexier. Wallace is also a regular at Berghain’s legendary Panorama Bar, turning heads recently with an 8-hour closing set!
We’ll be going late at @villagestudioslife , sharing the space with @goodnightout_vancouver ❤️
Tickets are up and running on Resident Advisor and TicketWeb. Links in the usual places, you know what to do 🌀
Shhhhhh! If you know, you know📺👀
Quite possibly the most fun I’ve ever had behind the decks😊💕🌀🎶
To those who rolled up, and helped pack that cozy space out: THANK YOU!! From the depths of my house music loving heart💛🏠
My dear friend Derrek captured a fun clip! Wait for the drop…

@sorenthomasworkshop joins us on the patio this Saturday 🔥
He played a killer set with us last year, so having him back for the season opener was a no-brainer. Going to be a good one!
🎟️ Link in bio.

Last week marked 7 years without one sip of alcohol for me. Before that, I drank regularly from 13 until just before I turned 37.
It didn’t feel like a problem until my mid 30’s when hangovers started to last for multiple days. My body was talking, and I’m really happy I listened and stepped away.
Life feels steadier now. Far from perfect, but it seems easier to navigate. Lotsa love out to you and yours from my fam and I 👋💛

A shift in flavour, back to the roots that pulled us into dark rooms and long nights in the first place—Tofino Tea Party and Swrv step away from the weight of bass to explore the bounce, swing and soul of house, garage and beyond.
Friday June 5th at Tricksters Hideout 🔊🔊
Thomas Workshop is a core member of Lazy Syrup Orchestra and co-director of Soul Hop Productions. Bringing jazz-rooted sensibility into aquatic, groove-led, house-centric selections—shaped by years of live performance, songwriting, and community-driven dance spaces.
Alongside, Just Sheila emerging from a long Squamish winter with a 3 decade-deep instinct for the dancefloor—blending house, garage, UK funky, and 808 rhythms with the kind of energy that keeps bodies moving without asking permission.
Rounding it out, SLB, with over 15 years behind decks and dance floors—delivers a refined, no-frills approach—pulling from deep cuts and underground sounds. Connecting with the community through his Swrv nights in Squamish and a monthly show on Bside radio in Vancouver. Expect fun bass driven energy.
No gimmicks—just a room, a proper sound system, and a different direction. Tickets in the usual spot :)
Shout out @hesh.works aka @metafloor for the graphics. 🎨

Today is my little brother Johann’s 40th Earth Birthday💛🥹🥺🥰
Johann moved in to the next phase of his existence on November 30th, 2018. Our family has been grieving since, but also channeling inspiration through the tragedy. Realizing that he’s not just simply still with us, that he literally is us, and we’re him! At least that’s how I look at it✨
My fam and I have been doing our best to carry on his legacy, but this year hits different cuz we’ve finally made the call to release his music. Johann recorded an album in 2008 and none of us even knew about it until it was cut. To this day, we still don’t even know who he recorded it with. After the fact- Joh mentioned to us that it was all recorded in one day. He also played all of the instruments and rocked all the vocals. It’s unique, yet also familiar and quite brilliant. Hard not to imagine how epic it would be to write and create with him if he was still here in human form…
If you’d like to take a listen, Johann’s album is on my mom Joy’s YouTube channel and the link is in my bio. I’ve also included a few audio snippets in this post📣
His alias is Johanis T. Borgon …. We often called him Joh!
Johann- if you’re reading this, I hope you’re stoked about us unleashing this music. IT FELT LIKE THE THING TO DO THIS YEAR.
🟡WE LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH🟡

Hi👋😀💭🌉
What’re you up to this weekend? Dancing perhaps…
I’m back at @gorgomish late tonight (aka Sunday morning), sharing the decks with my pal @kardanomusic. He’s a really nice human, and a silly good DJ/Producer!
We’ll be touching on all kinds of house music from 2-8am and I’m on the breakfast shift (5-8am) 🍳⏰☀️
Stay up and boogie with me or set an alarm and roll in for a bit. I’ll be tapping into all sorts of things, most definitely touching on some classics. Just bought a stack of new tracks as well. I love playing at Gorg! The sound is dialled, such a blissed out time in the booth 🐝🍯🏠
I have a few guest list spots and discount spots too, holler if you’d like to get involved. Lots going on in the city tonight, I’ll be out and about before hitting the honeycombs. Hope to see you if you’re in town✨

Ahhhhhh memories, the laziest of times are also the un-laziest of times over here🎬🥞
We’re hyped to show you what we’ve been cooking up for our Commodore show next weekend (Sat April 25)!! Been making new tunes, edits and rehearsing more than usual too ;)
Being a core member of Lazy Syrup Orchestra since the projects birth in 2015 has helped sculpt who I am. Dunks saw something in me around that time and trusted in what I could bring to the table vocally, percussively and beyond, I’m forever grateful for this. Dunk-O and I have been challenging one another since- to grow collectively and as individuals. It’s a beautiful synergy! Cole’s been with us from the start defining the sound with his world class trumpeting. We were a trio for the first few years, with epic guests guesting on the regular…
Then came the beginnings of the Kotek era in 2017 and we became four! Mike changed the game with his top level production chops and multi instrumentation.
Then came the start of the Woodyard era in 2018 and we became five! Mark elevated everything with his vocals and strings. We also started inspiring one another to write more original raps.
Then came the Ashleigh Ball era in 2020 and we became six! Ashleigh rocked our world with her vocals and maniacal skills on the flute. Her and I have been friends since 2002 and this was the ultimate full circle experience for me, watching her gel with the crew and elevate everything we’d built.
Then came the era of much more original music! We started setting up writing retreats and everything’s been moving in an epic direction since. We love eachother dearly and I think it shows on stage, I’ve been told countless times that it does. I’m proud of what we bring musically and vibe wise💛
Extra shouts to Midnight, Westwood, Malcolm, Kaya, Kapok, Couto and everybody who’s guested with us along the way. We’ve likely had more than 100 different folks sit in with us over the course of LSO’s lifespan. That’s pretty cool!
Last year’s Commodore show was a pivotal moment for us, next weekend is sure to be even more nutty! If you’re in town or have a way of getting here- you’re gonna wanna make it happen. BE THERE 👀👀👀👀

Ahhhhhh memories, the laziest of times are also the un-laziest of times over here🎬🥞

Ahhhhhh memories, the laziest of times are also the un-laziest of times over here🎬🥞
We’re hyped to show you what we’ve been cooking up for our Commodore show next weekend (Sat April 25)!!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
