First art for my little one🐲♥️
This painting is inspired by his name, Joon (written as 준 in Korean). Born in the Year of the Blue Dragon, Joon is depicted riding a dragon across a sun-soaked sky.

Hoping to create one art piece every year as he gets old.

A special commission for a beautiful family of five. This was one of the largest art pieces that I have worked on (about 40”x26”) - which took longer than what we anticipated! Inspired by the couple’s wedding shots in Hawaii, we wanted to recreate the moment with the whole family including the kids and dog. The artwork was done with pen and ink, watercolour, Japanese papers, and acrylics, assembled in a shadowbox style.

Grateful for this opportunity to be back in the studio and work away while the little one slept. Thank you @manlee88 for the patience and inspiration to create this beautiful family portrait! ♥️🥰♥️

A couple of years ago, I met @jeannie.kk through an interview for the Hamilton Artist Inc’s Through My Eyes exhibition. Last year, she reached out to ask about a collaborative opportunity for a grant she was working on. The program was called ‘Our Bookshelf: A Community Mural,’ where participants of all ages were invited to “create chaekgeori 책거리 composition: a 18th-19th c. Korean still-life painting style depicting a scholar’s books, tools and possessions.” 📚

This is my first set of programs after becoming a mom. I was both nervous and excited to brainstorm workshop ideas, present, and install a community mural. Huge shoutout to Jeannie 💕 for being such a great inspiration, for the opportunity and for being the best collaborative partner I can ask for. Thank you to the Toronto Public Library staff 💙for all their support, and everyone 💖who came to participate. Everyone created such beautiful works inspired by historical chaekgeori paintings and their own culture.

The community mural 🖼️ is available for viewing at the Toronto Public Library Ethennonnhawahstihnen’ Branch(right beside the Bessarion station), so please make sure to check it out in person!

The project I have dreamed of since my Art Ed. Masters days has been realized, and now you are all cordially invited to the final cumulation!

Come join @soyeonis and I as we celebrate the works of seniors, adults, teens, children and families that have all taken in the beauty of chaekgeori - the Korean still-life painting genre that depicts a scholar's books and prized possessions.

The community mural will be up for a month starting December 7, 2024. 📚

Special thanks to the @torontolibrary staff at Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Branch: Kate Restivo and Olena Ashkenazy for all their support in running the program!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
