SPACE (Stuttering, People, Arts, Community, Education)
A nonprofit creating a world that listens better to people who stutter, and everyone else.

SPACE is honored to have been awarded a grant from @dabcsociety and the Province of British Columbia to fund the Listening Equity Project!!!
Over the next year, we’ll be working hard on this project to make service providers in BC more accessible for those with communication disabilities and differences. 🤝
Listening equity means everyone can be heard and understood, regardless of how they speak. Instead of asking people who stutter to change how they communicate, we are going to teach service providers how to listen better.
Are you a person with a communication disability or difference?
Fill out the 🔗 in our bio or go to spacetostutter.org/listening equity to help us understand your experience with service providers.
Together, let’s change the world for dysfluent speakers! 💚💙🌊 ✊

It feels surreal to be here. 🇯🇵
Thanks to generous grants from the @canada.council and @foundationforcontemporaryarts, Aidan and @lukewyland are representing SPACE in a very special cultural exchange.
Not only will be presenting on SPACE’s work and sharing Luke’s music made from the Library of Dysfluent Voices, we’ll also be learning from the stuttering community in Japan about their experiences.
We are so grateful to our partners at the University of Hiroshima @hiroshima_univ_d_and_i and the @institute_of_science_tokyo_mid: @assaito123, Norimune Kawai, Sokunrith Pov, Sato Tomoko, and artist who stutters @yutomiyamoto for their help in making this trip happen.
We’re excited to keep you posted about it all over the next 3 weeks!!!😍
In the meantime, check out our SPACE hats and our “Create SPACE for Stuttering” postcard translated into Japanese!
The stuttering community extends across the world! 🌎

Just a little sneak peak of Barry Yeoman’s exceptional series of stories that he performed at SPACE for our Voices in December. 👀
Click the link in our bio to watch the full speech - Barry will blow you away!!
In December of this year, we did something special - the first ever celebration of stuttering voices and art in Vancouver.🌊💚💙
We screened our new film, @wearelepublic, heard stories from journalist Barry Yeoman, and music from @lukewyland. Most importantly, we carved out space for the voices of people who stutter to be heard, in their own words.
We’re so proud of this event and know that it’s just the start of what’s to come for the stuttering community in BC.
Stay tuned next week for the full version of Barry Yeoman’s speech - you’re not going to want to miss it. 👀

Happy National Stuttering Acceptance Week! 💙💚🌊
If you are a person who stutters, this is a week to explore some of the love, complexity and pride that can come with your identity.
If you are not a person who stutters, this week is a beautiful opportunity to hear and learn from stuttering voices.
We’d recommend checking out our Library of Dysfluent Voices (spacetostutter.org/dysfluentvoices) or following great organizations like @friendswhostutter , @westutter, @dysfluent @stammauk
For us, we’re are excited to share some of the things we’ve been working on with you over the next week….We have been hard at work creating a world that stutters more - not less. 💪
How are you celebrating NSAW? 👀

🎬 « Le public, c'est nous », film co-produit dans le cadre de ma thèse avec @spacetostutter et @labo.iv présenté au @reelabilitiesny "the largest festival in the world dedicated to showcasing ground-breaking films by and about people with disabilities".
Je me sens chanceuse.

🎬 "We Are the Audience", a film co-produced as part of my doctoral research with @spacetostutter and @labo.iv presented at the @reelabilitiesny "the largest festival in the world dedicated to showcasing ground-breaking films by and about people with disabilities".
A full room at the @whitneymuseum in New York. Engaging conversations after the screening.
What an honor. And what an honor to share the stage with @ahrdez's beautiful film "Beyond Each Frame" @au.dela.du.regard about the art of audio description.
Two years ago, I was at the Whitney presenting my research on the inclusion of stuttering voices in media. Coming back this time with the film, spending a week at the festival with my colleague Aidan Sank, co-founder of @spacetostutter, connecting with the audience... I learned so much. I feel lucky.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
